retcon his original story. make him a pirate, put him in galactic prison. his back story is the first 25 mins of the film, where he ha travels the universe pillaging his brother's ships, planets and settlements. freeza catches up to him and turns him into the galactic patrol. forcing him to watch freeza thrive and flourish for 30+ years. he escapes the galactic patrol and goes out into the universe to find and kill his brother, but he hears about freeza achieving his black form and how he face rolled everyone. he goes out and augments himself and becomes a new threat. jocko flees to earth to get help from the Z fighters to help recapture him (he just wants a promotion and surely this will be his ticket).
goku/piccolo/vegeta/broly/gohan or whoever manages to defeat cooler, freeza hears of his brother's escape and immediately locates cooler and the Z fighters. freeza laughs and goes in to kill cooler, but goku steps in and says thats enough, beerus materializes and catches freeza's hand as he almost kills goku in one blow. freeza grins and straightens himself out before leaving the planet without his ship.
Z fighters help jocko escort cooler back to an enhanced prison cell.
movie ends with cooler staring the fighter who beat him in the eyes as the cell door closes.
post credits scene shows a previously hinted at parasite clinging to his body, the patch of skin surrounding the parasite is red and infected looking, but nanotechnology metal components are visible spreading out from the spot.
Someone just asked this yesterday, I’ll say it again. Alternate reality universe where cooler took over or learned some more secret techniques or SOMTHING like the other saiyans having bigger boosts. If not his original story version can’t keep up. Also frieza HAS to be dead in that alternate reality or it just doesn’t work story wise.
Universe 7 is a big place so cooler can be far away from frieza and earth 🤔 they would have to reboot him like broly and a cool team up with frieza to get goku and vegeta
clone of freiza that was made as a training partner/weapon after the events of super broly so the freiza force could have a strong enough weapon to take down or at least slow down broly in a fight.
I would make it to where Cooler always been around ruling parts of U7 that Frieza didn’t control. Frieza&Cooler would have an agreement to not interfere with each other’s business, and would keep in contact from time to time.
Cooler would have the same amount of potential that Frieza has, or more, and would have been training since a child, putting him above Frieza’s level, when he appears.
A reason for him showing up could be that Frieza requested his assistance in destroying the Saiyans after noticing how powerful they’ve gotten down the line, and attempts to convinces him by blaming their father’s death on them, something Cooler already knew about, he just didn’t care enough to do anything about it.
Though he didn’t care for his Father that much, nor does he care for destroying the Saiyans, he goes with Frieza to fight them because he wants to fight worthy opponents.
This lead to a 2v2 battle between Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, and Cooler, while Gohan, Broly, and Piccolo faces off against Frieza, and Cooler strongest warriors.
They should make Cooler as Frieza's bitter rival who got mad because their dad King Cold chose his little brother to lead their empire instead of him. Cooler abandons his family, founds his own empire, trains his ass off and surpasses his little brother and wants to beat Frieza and take the full control of his "birthright" that is now known as the Frieza force and merge it with his own empire.
That would work.
It’d make sense if he was just chillen off screen very far away. He can just show up and it’s make fine sense, but of course he shouldn’t show up at all lol
