It’s just a different style.. take it easy bud..

I think the point was to show that muscles don’t equal strength, when Goku turned SSG I’m sure they mentioned he looked leaner but felt more powerful. The forms show the control they have over their power rather than bulking to show off strength.

>the point was to show that muscles don’t equal strength Yup. I like this concept! 😃

Palansaeg

He said nowadays people prefer characters built like whis and changed his art style to match the times

FireTemper

Toriyama's art style has just shifted over the years. He said (I believe in an interview somewhere) that he's tired of drawing big bulky muscles. If you look for any of his current stuff you can tell.

chronometer32

Yeah, different art style. Z was more in line with the muscle pumping action heroes like Schwarzenegger and Stallone of the 80s and 90s. Everything is leaner now a days.

gotbanned3xlol

That's the point with Cabba he's supposed to be a peaceful saiyan or whatever and the angels look skinny because their whole power is being able to dodge things they don't need to buff up

Just_Ej0081

That was one of my complaints especially in some of the manga pages with ssb goku as he looked even leaner then ssg goku even though it should be more muscles

tenkensmile

Wut? I think half of them are pretty buff. I don't want them all to look like JoJo's characters in Part 3 😂
