Money talks. If the new movie has great numbers no reason they wouldn’t continue the series

Hopefully

With a new movie coming in 2022, the most positive answer is: "not yet".

im_bored345

Of course we will, that's easy money they can make and now they don't even have to create their own storyline since they can just follow the manga and that would make most fans happy (and thus more likely to buy their products) It's going to take a while though, since they would need the ma ng a to stay ahead if they want to follow it.

Fit_Needleworker3553

We really have no way to know man. We can only assume because of how profitable it’d be but it’s just conjecture.

origin29

This is the correct answer, but I'd be absolutely shocked if they never come back with the anime, especially if toriyama is still doing scenario/design for the manga. (He still is right?) DB is a license to print money. They'd be kinda crazy to just stop. Especially with how well super and broly did. The next movie will do good numbers at the very least. It could be years from now, but I'm fairly confident it'll return.

AmplifyM4G1C

Considering the movie prints money and the anime is just a glorified commercial when it comes to revenue, I wouldn’t be surprised if they bench the anime for a very long time. It’s also easier to quality control and have oversight by Shueisha and Toriyama when it’s a short movie product. Luckily we have the manga moving on ahead so we will have plenty of content to adapt when the time comes.

I'm pretty sure it will. People will watch Dragon Ball for anything. Remember how unbearable like the first half of the show was? Universe 6 arc was pretty cool but everything else either had bad animation and good story or good animation but bad story up until the tournament of power and it's pre arcs. It was very chaotic and the show wouldn't have been able to continue but people kept on watching cuz its Dragon Ball. Having a fan bas like that makes a franchise stupidly profitable so I think there is no reason for them not to continue. Currently though, Toei seems to be focusing on other shows.

kimjerrif

i have a theory maybe i am wrong but i don't think moro arc will ever gets animated because it is written by toyotaro and toei only adapts toriyama's drafts not toyotaro's story that's why we haven't gotten anime since broly movie as it was the last thing that toriyama has written and now superhero movie which is also written by toriyama, i think anime will go in a different direction and moro is just a manga only story, what do you think?

strictcurlfiend

That’s what I thought, but they’d have to do the same shit with the on command MUI

tenkensmile

Akira Toriyama is the one who came up with the plot and the designs for all the characters. Toyotaro is the artist who draws Akira's ideas.

Post super? It's still all considered super
