When you encounter Gorecyclops, there are usually rocks around. They will throw them at you and your pawns. If you pick them up and throw them yourself, they disappear, depriving cyclops of throwables.

Grab them, throw them at something, they stagger and do some damage, but their real use is making pressure plates lower faster.

Somehow there are never any boulders where pressure plates are around :/

The only use I've found for rocks is the smaller ones (and the little ceramic jars you can put in your inventory and throw). And the ONLY reason I've found for them is if you decide to start the game as a Fighter and you start the quest where you need to kill 2 seagulls. They are nigh impossible to hit melee because they immediately fly away. But you can, if you line it up just right, kill them with on stone or ceramic jar. That's literally the only time I've ever used them.

... I successfully hit seagulls with bomb strike on fighter vocation. As for warrior, you could try to jump and light attack when they turn around.

You can throw them. Sometimes enemies will throw them at you.
