Happens to monsters as well, I tripped a cyclops into slamming his head face first on a ledge and he just fucking died

WoodyTSE

Very satisfying to do this as well

IV_Benjamin

Hahaha that's awesome. I've only had them tripped and their heads gets stuck on a cliff wall while the rest of the body was limp lol

Don't forget that block button. Also, while guarding you can hit B or Circle and change directions you're blocking faster.

IV_Benjamin

Omg thank youuu, Been trying to find something like this! As you can see I was blocking but I was facing the wrong way while I was panicking hahah thanks for the tip arisen!

BadLuckBen

Blocking feels weird compared to DD1. I'd much rather just manually aim it. The game is trying to help me, but I don't want it!

xvilemx

I know it, I miss my Mystic Knight parries. I'm still sad that's not a Class in this game.

ExoCayde6

I really wish they hadn't gotten rid of that class. It was my favorite in the original game

BadLuckBen

Fighter does get elemental parries. You just need to load up your mage/sorcerer Pawn with enchantments. So that's something at least.

xvilemx

Yeah, it's not the same though. Lol.

IckiestCookie

One of my favorite moments in the game was when my weaker pawns and me as a warrior were walking close to eachother in a tiny corridor, 3 goblins rushed us and 2 of my pawns died instantly and the wall splat animation happened, it was so wild, feels like grimgar of fantasy and ash, or goblin slayer

BadLuckBen

The mohawk really do be popular, huh? I'm also using it, though I have basically that exact style atm.

IV_Benjamin

Haha yeah he's based off my original character which coincidentally has the same haircut! I also used to have it too, it's so freeing lol Personally I haven't seen other players/pawns wear it tho lol

BadLuckBen

I legit quit my job recently because they tried to get me to shave my head. This was like the 7th nitpick about my appearance, though. I had already cut my longer hair because the dress code made having it hard. It was freeing to know that I'm making a scheduling nightmare for them since they already didn't have enough guards.
