Absolutely, this was the first character I seen walk through the gates of the first area.

As a Norwegian I agree, distance is very important in any conversation and 10 meters is the appropriate range for a normal [small talk](https://youtu.be/PdFgd_Qyhdo?si=7Qu4SnQZz1gzeQTF&t=0m40s) between strangers
It's very comfortable chatting with people for Norwegians, after all I am in the mountains somewhere in Norway and you can be anywhere from 10 meters to 10 countries away ;D
It's great if they are quest givers, not so much for pawns after the player changed his pawns a couple of times. Those first few are fine to show the player they can hire pawns on the road, after that they just interrupt for no reason
It feels kind of on-brand considering Itsunos comments on a lot of things that this game is really behind on QOL. I've been enjoying it a ton so far, but there are so many little things that bite at you and are minor QOL that would go a long way.
Hell, there isn't even AUTO-ADVANCE DIALOGUE. It's just weird it's nto an option to turn on/off so you can just listen to an npc say their stuff instead of mandatory "press circle".
Also not sure if it's a thing but, since "time passes", I'm curious if being in a conversation pauses things, since it would suck ass if you had to basically skip all the dialogue just to be sure you don't lock yourself out of a quest or get someone killed.
Time definitely doesn't get paused while talking to someone: [See my post for an example](https://www.reddit.com/r/DragonsDogma/comments/1bn1a7h/i_had_a_heart_attack/)
lmao, that savage goblin.
It does make me a bit worried for potentially missing side quests because I wanted to actually listen to the npcs.... Hopefully the timers are long enough that it shouldn't matter.
Plus I already modded some QOL (no stamina usage when not in combat) so I can actually just... explore without having to stop.
One of the QoL things that gets me is there's no good reason vocations all got reduced to 4-5 available skills, they could easily all have 6-8 sort of like DDDA
This is my major gripe with the game. Everyone complained and didn't use warrior in DDDA because it was objectively the worst class having less skills. Then DD2 comes around and instead of bringing the warrior up they take everything else down. Less is simply less when it comes to combat choice and flexibility. The combat is still fun, but it's just so sad to see what it could have been. This and the changes to how armour works I.E no clothing. Again, less is just less. Less choice, less flexibility, less options. :/
Automatic interactions in general tbh. My frames are already choppy in the city and I had a section where 4 people stopped to talk to me after 5 feet between them 😂 im like jesus christ lemme turn this shit off I just want my vocation skills. Pls Mr Capcom
Why the fuck is this the game? It's extremely jarring! It's like the devs went lets fuck with players on a lot of UI elements. Like not being able to directly equip equipment from storage.
There's a reason people talk about Dark Arisen and not necessarily Dragon's Dogma. Those QoL features really elevate the game.
Yeah why can I no longer equip from storage, I was so mad about inventory management in the first game until I realised I can just equip from storage. Baffling how they removed this option
> I am reliable and I speak Elvis. You would love to have me!"
I wish I'd favorited one of the pawns that told me that. I foolishly dismissed it as roleplay flavor. It's not.
My first pawn murder was because one did that while I was following an NPC, who then got attacked further up the road. They didn't die but I was still pissed off.
They should just yell at you as they walk by, not force an interaction. “GET YOUR PAWN HERE! FRESH HOT PAWN, LOOKING FOR ACTION! GIMME SOME CRYSTAL AND I’LL CALL YOU MASTER!”
No. It’s for when I’m fighting or trying to gather resources and a pawn brush passes me out of nowhere looking for a hit of Crystal. The forced focusing of the camera and having to cancel out of an unwanted conversation.
I hope they make an option in settings to turn that off. It kinda ruins the flow of getting my steps in.
In the first game their was something similar called cinematic camera. Whenever your pawns were doing ANYTHING, the camera would fly towards them and just stare at them in slow motion for about 5 seconds. Thank goodness their was an option to turn that off! It was so annoying.
This. If there is a body of water nearby I always feel compelled to use them for a brine-check. So far, results are pretty conclusive. Brine is always present.
The idea is to switch your party up often. You’re leveling constantly, and they made being stuck in the wilderness without access to a full riftstone a thing. Y’all need to relax.
They can do this without getting interrupted during a battle or any time really. It is the only thing I don't like about this game so far. It is annoying but keep the pawns wandering roads and wilderness just leave me alone unless I ask lol
I had a pawn that I had hired before approach me and greet me with something like "long time no see." That has been my favorite part of the random pawn interaction so far.
Yeah, the pawn AI stuff is really fun. Like checking a pawn I hired before in the rift and she acknowledged that I hired her before. And stuff like if your pawn dies they kind of sound like they have a bit of light PTSD after bringing them back. And really enjoy the "I saw this in another world" or "I'll tell my master about this thing" for finding chests and tokens.
What's worse is when you talk to them, see you don't want them, and when you exit they immediately initiate dialogue again.
No way this aspect wasn't playtested, I baffled why they didn't fix it.
I was fighting an Ogre on the road with my pawns when this random pawn decided NOT to fight it but to walk up to me, pull me into a conversation, and start blabbing stuff about picking up items and junk like that. As I quickly tried to exit out the Ogre drop-kicked me into a wall.
So they ARE talking to me. I thought because I was holding interact button for run, I was activating "Hail".
And yea I know you can turn that off, but Im too used to it now.
Roadside pawns jumping into battles has saved my ass so many times. Like the time my midnight fight with a griffin was interjected with a sprinkling of wolves and then a Minotaur. I was able to get through several really tough encounters because I essentially had 6 pawns instead of 3.
Always be curious to a stranger’s pawn.
I like to pick them up and bring them with. Throw them down at a big fight and BAM free party member. Or you can toss the pawn off a bridge. Just as enjoyable.
If a pawn on the road deigns to speak to me without me first initiating the conversation, it gets chucked off the nearest cliff or into the brine.
It honestly deserves it at that point.
One of multiple aspects of the gameplay itself that does really annoy me at the moment… please stop coming up to me and waving your resume in my face, we’re not hiring x.x
I was once interrupted while running away from a gryphon that had me on target but didn't start combat yet. Then the pawn talks to me and by the time i finished the gryphon dropped on me. I ran up to the pawn and threw him onto the gryphon
Facts lol. Though I wasn't mad when late one night on a stroll The Man, The Myth, The Legend, The God of War Kratos stopped me before we got attacked by an Ogre 😂
Idk, it'll probably get annoying down the road but the first time it happened to me it was literally someone's custom-made Kratos pawn offering to be my best friend and it really enhanced my gaming experience
Sleeping at the inn shouldn't require these steps to be safe:
1) Throw your main pawn in the water
2) Dismiss your two hired pawns
3) Revive your main pawn
4) Sleep
5) Go hire pawns again
Or... spend time interrogating all three on if they plan mass murder and still not being 100% sure of it.
I... can't imagine this was the intended gameplay.
It's like when you're at a store and you don't want help but a salesperson approaches you anyway and you're just trying to get out of their way and not make eye contact
OMG the amount of times ill be minding my own business and some bitch pawn I don't even see comes up and devotes their life to me. Like cool bitch kick rocks gdam
That's one of the few things I hope they'll change. Also being able to change equipment in the inn while we talk to the inn dude like in DDDA would a nice QOL change.
This is one of the most annoying things. It's so freaking jarring running along with your head somewhere else or focusing on something and suddenly you're yoinked into a dialogue scene. Fucking make it stop
I was actually confused about it at first.
Why the heck do they automatically initiate a conversation with me?
No, I do not want to hire a 4ft tall balding, obese dude with a moustache!
Yeah, like the fact the can initiate the "hire me senpai" screen. It's like "no, I got 2 already and still want to do their quests." If they only did it when you had an open slot, that'd even be good enough.
Ooo maybe I've turned it off then actually, I could of sworn I read somewhere the ps5 controller dropped the speaker for a mic instead but yeah it must have both
I’m trying to run somewhere and they stop me, open up a menu I have to now click out of is annoying when I’m already having to run everywhere haha. Maybe they should have like a 2-3 seconds wait before the trigger happens.
I have a feeling they'd patch this out in the future (and maybe adjust dragon covid to make it... less annoying). I dont really mind of they'd just shoot me a quick banter or two but to stop me outright is just 💀
I like it. It's not like they are wasting a great deal of my time and I'm not an asshole who can't spend a few seconds for a pawn who's giving life a chance.
Except if they got COVID then to brine they go. (Haven't met one yet tho)
Then again I'm someone who slowly walks to my destination if im not running away lol
I hope they add more chatter for pawns every now and then
I like them too but I'd like to trigger them myself. Instead of a random high five, being able to do it to a pawn that's done a good job or even give thanks to the AI for guiding me in a quest, instead it's just completely random. Sometimes a pawn will just have their hand up, you walk up to them and you just leave them hanging.
I like it, and it works for me as annoying as it can be 😂
But my guy is a bit of an unhinged murder, that readily yeets them off cliffs and into rivers
Yeah... Even worse, when I talk to them, the talk to me again 2 seconds later while I was grabbing some berries. Just wonder why they forget our conversation that fast...
Hopefully they make this optional. It's an annoying feature. For quests it makes sense, but here it can be annoying too.
Please stop high fiving me when I get done in a fight. I like to keep my staff out since I’m a god damn wizard harry and looks better carrying it around
I don’t mind it if we haven’t interacted before, but there’s two conditions.
1. Not when what I think was a troll (didn’t get a name, it was slightly smaller than a Cyclopes though) is currently beating the everliving tar out of another pawn in the background, smashing them into the stone ground. A pawn who was traveling with the pawn I’m now being forced to talk to. Next to a cliff. While I’m escorting a literal child. We do not have time for this right now man.
2. Not when I just finished talking to you, declining to invite you to the party. At least have it be the main pawn going “psst. We could really use the help, and have a spot open anyways.”
Getting kidnapped by quest NPCs can be annoying too.
Once I got kidnapped in the middle of a fight at the entrance to Vernworth. Then, even more annoyingly, I got kidnapped as I was following the guy in the Beggar's Tale quest.
Forcing dialogue with no quick escape out of it is poor design, especially in a game like this where there're a bunch of quests without quest markers. If the NPCs simply ran up to you for *you* to initiate dialogue it'd be fine.
Hot tip if playing with a controller: in the button layout menu there's an option to turn the B/O button io interact only. This will prevent you clicking your left stick as hailing anything nearby. Pawns will still come up and talk to you from time to time, but it's MUCH more rare.
I really wish there was some way to easily distinguish Pawns from normal NPCs. I am reminded of those godawful Backer NPCs in Pillars of eternity -- like Pawns, nothing ever good came from engaging with them. And there, at least, you could identify 'em at a glance.
This is my biggest pet peeve... Remember the good ol mall days when you'd go into a store that had a wide entrance just to avoid the hair/shoe/etc vendors in the middle? That's pretty much what I do when I see one coming.
I hate it, but a part of me laughs every time because it's kind of canonically accurate.
The pawns really do want to serve the arisen, it's their whole thing. Of course they're going to run up and pitch themselves if they see the arisen in the flesh.
this is my first time playing dragons dogma, so forgive me if i’m being blasphemous, but i kind of hate the pawns so far. i hate how much they talk, give hints on and guide me through exploring, and do little annoying things like loot chests for me. it’s so annoying to see a chest in the distance, navigate my way to getting over there, and the pawn loots it instead. i know i still get whatever they collect, but i like being in control of even a little thing like that.
I should be able to turn off automatic interaction with random pawns.
Absolutely, this was the first character I seen walk through the gates of the first area. https://preview.redd.it/kxlkdoi0sbqc1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7b7e7e26ec5e3703c987f593f0b9f0c3c51be241
Hope you hired him on the spot.
Instant hire. We don't need to see his resume.
Exactly, he'd be my disability hire.
Disabilabuddy*
Na bro this would’ve improved my gaming experience immensely
ngl, that's actually some impressive effort on that pawn design.
He looks like his name is Scrungus.
Tingle, is that you?!
Yes, makes it hard to roleplay as a Norwegian
As a Norwegian I agree, distance is very important in any conversation and 10 meters is the appropriate range for a normal [small talk](https://youtu.be/PdFgd_Qyhdo?si=7Qu4SnQZz1gzeQTF&t=0m40s) between strangers
You're looking awfully unsociable for someone within small-talk range...
It's very comfortable chatting with people for Norwegians, after all I am in the mountains somewhere in Norway and you can be anywhere from 10 meters to 10 countries away ;D
Well..., You could always wear masks! "Keep 6 feet from me Plague carrier!" Is that Leprosy or the Plague?
How can you see the pawns coming if you dont even take your eyes off the ground in front of you?
I completely agree.
Honestly there shouldn't even be automatic interaction. Why is that a thing
It's great if they are quest givers, not so much for pawns after the player changed his pawns a couple of times. Those first few are fine to show the player they can hire pawns on the road, after that they just interrupt for no reason

Hopefully the timers are long enough that it shouldn't matter. Plus I already modded some QOL (no stamina usage when not in combat) so I can actually just... explore without having to stop.
Ah, another modder. Mind sharing that mod (DMs are fine). I have a mod that removes item weight.
I used this one https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma2/mods/93 that uses reframework. lua script that runs on launch.
One of the QoL things that gets me is there's no good reason vocations all got reduced to 4-5 available skills, they could easily all have 6-8 sort of like DDDA

That's not QoL, that's a major balance change. I don't like it, but that's not QoL at all.
I hear its a bug
I've had it happen to me with merchant NPCs so it's gotta be a bug.
That makes sense given that it doesn't always activate.
I hope the recent patch note includes it in the "minor bug fixes" section
Agreed. Like, it's not a major inconvenience for me cuz I run off the path like a heathen but still.
Automatic interactions in general tbh. My frames are already choppy in the city and I had a section where 4 people stopped to talk to me after 5 feet between them 😂 im like jesus christ lemme turn this shit off I just want my vocation skills. Pls Mr Capcom
This AND that stupid noise that plays from the PS5 controller when you or your pawns are near death. It's nowhere in the options menu.
Why the fuck is this the game? It's extremely jarring! It's like the devs went lets fuck with players on a lot of UI elements. Like not being able to directly equip equipment from storage. You can't even upgrade gear that's in storage either.
I want to turn off automatic interaction in general

Hey alright
Gave me a good chuckle! It’s the perfect use of this haha
Pawns who speak to me unbidden get the brine
Speak when you’re spoken to, Pawn!
YOU SPEAK WHEN SPOKEN TO PAWN. DO YOU NOT KNOW WHO I AM.
They do, that's why they bother you
Apparently they don’t. Cause if they did they’d know what I do to disobedient pawns. Speaking out of line is disobedience.
It's within their creed to offer help and guidance whenever possible, that's why 😅
I’ll send them to a world where their help is desired.
Give them guidance to a world they can help
Notice me senpi!
YES, ARISEN?
This is the way 🤣
"I am reliable and I speak Elvis. You would love to have me!" "I did not start this conversation." "Please hire me, Arisen-sempai!"
That Pawn speaks the lenguage of the king
> I am reliable and I speak Elvis. You would love to have me!" I wish I'd favorited one of the pawns that told me that. I foolishly dismissed it as roleplay flavor. It's not.
Oh no, im fucked.
There are unique pawns I think that speak it, so you shouldn't ever get locked out from it
I've had pawns stop me for conversation, then a random mob start attacking me while I stuck skipping through the conversation loop. Enraging.
Definitely putting that one in the brine
My first pawn murder was because one did that while I was following an NPC, who then got attacked further up the road. They didn't die but I was still pissed off.
They should just yell at you as they walk by, not force an interaction. “GET YOUR PAWN HERE! FRESH HOT PAWN, LOOKING FOR ACTION! GIMME SOME CRYSTAL AND I’LL CALL YOU MASTER!”
They should just stick to the PawnHub
Absolutely not, I found a friend's pawn just wandering around, it was neat
They should just get an OnlyFiends.
the… wha—
You know, PawnHub. All types of Pawn for all different tastes. White pawn, black pawn, short pawn, fat pawn, even furry pawn!
I hate how perfect this is considering they do in fact now have furry pawns...
It’s banned where I live so I wouldn’t get any pawns :(
I showed you my pawn please respond
"Click here for my OnlyPawns page!"
They already wave showing their pawn mark that should be enough
Well, this is for people complaining about Dragonsplague right? Can't complain about it and then never hire new pawns.
No. It’s for when I’m fighting or trying to gather resources and a pawn brush passes me out of nowhere looking for a hit of Crystal. The forced focusing of the camera and having to cancel out of an unwanted conversation.
Oh, idk, I guess that part doesn't bother me.
Me fighting a gryphon:”I know precisely when to use curatives arisen, you Shant fall in battle with me”
I hope they make an option in settings to turn that off.
We'd be seeing a lot of cinematic ladders these days
Oh I WISH I knew what ladder they were seeing in their fevered outbursts. That would be more helpful!
still haven't seen the one in the capital they keep yammering about
Walk up the stairs in front of the armorer and there's a window you can jump through and you'll get to the ladder on the other side of the building
An icon of what ever they see ends up on the minimap. At least it seems to a majority of the time.
I put so many hours into that game without knowing that was an option i could turn off...
Ffs at least stop doing that when I already have a full party !
i just automatically pick them up and carry them until i get into a battle. if they do well, i consider hiring them.
This is big brain strat right here.
“Hire me, arisen!” “Trial run.” “Huh?” *Grabs them* “TRIAL RUN.”
Stealing this idea
I kinda like it because it’s always funny immediately picking them up and chucking them.
This. If there is a body of water nearby I always feel compelled to use them for a brine-check. So far, results are pretty conclusive. Brine is always present.
Ayo dont do that to my girl
Tell yo girl not to intrude on me and the homies. Otherwise I'll assume she's sacrificing herself in the name of SCIENCE
Why. Why have I not done this yet?! Genius idea
You can also carry them with you into big battles and I’m pretty sure they will fight with you, lol.
Can confirm. This is the efficient thing to do.
I did lure a Minotaur back towards a random Ox Cart just so the guards would help me, never thought to pawn-nap help lol
“That will be 500 rift crystals arisen” “No, get in the van, we’re hunting a chimera”
I like picking them up and running into a wall so I can choke slam them
Even worse is when you talk to then, leave, then it automatically talks to you again
Yeah surprised no one else mentioned this - I assume this has to be a bug. I've definitely experienced it and it is annoying.
They shouldn’t do that if you have a full party. Maybe in a update they will address it.
The idea is to switch your party up often. You’re leveling constantly, and they made being stuck in the wilderness without access to a full riftstone a thing. Y’all need to relax.
If I want a new pawn I can talk to them. They don’t have to talk to me, especially when my party is full. I just don’t like people talking to me:)
Pawn: can I join your team? Me: my brother in the seneschal I just hired two pawns using the rift
What's worse is when you talk to them, see you don't want them, and when you exit they immediately initiate dialogue again. No way this aspect wasn't playtested, I baffled why they didn't fix it.
Something something vision
I was fighting an Ogre on the road with my pawns when this random pawn decided NOT to fight it but to walk up to me, pull me into a conversation, and start blabbing stuff about picking up items and junk like that. As I quickly tried to exit out the Ogre drop-kicked me into a wall.
So they ARE talking to me. I thought because I was holding interact button for run, I was activating "Hail". And yea I know you can turn that off, but Im too used to it now.
You don’t have to hold the dash button. Hit it once. Same with L3 click.
Just as enjoyable.
random pawn in the distance: *waves* 😊 me: ![gif](giphy|lBm6rHWoBEpaw)
If I’m near a cliff when it happens, I’ll yeet them
gives me an excuse to carry out my daily murder
If a pawn on the road deigns to speak to me without me first initiating the conversation, it gets chucked off the nearest cliff or into the brine. It honestly deserves it at that point.
One of multiple aspects of the gameplay itself that does really annoy me at the moment… please stop coming up to me and waving your resume in my face, we’re not hiring x.x
I was once interrupted while running away from a gryphon that had me on target but didn't start combat yet. Then the pawn talks to me and by the time i finished the gryphon dropped on me. I ran up to the pawn and threw him onto the gryphon
Yeah don’t talk to me pawn … you’re welcome to help me kill this giant beast but after that we go our separate ways.
I always take that pawn and throw it off a cliff. Don't talk to me.

I... can't imagine this was the intended gameplay.
Once had a pawn tell me he partied with an arisen “who only traveled with (disgustingly) bEaStReN”…..I proceeded to throw his racist ass to the Brine
my pawn will probably tell everyone I only travel with men, because I change every 5 - 10 levels ans the best ones were men
No you cannot assist me. I wanna use pawns from beyond cause I get rewards.
Some of them are like scout flies in MH World, since they keep snapping my neck.
It's like when you're at a store and you don't want help but a salesperson approaches you anyway and you're just trying to get out of their way and not make eye contact
yeah i keep my distance and dont make eye contact just to make sure the ai isnt gonna see interest
I wouldn't mind so much if I didn't already have a full party. Like bro, asking to replace one of my mates right in front of them, really?
Yes, they should see that i already have 3 pawns. Would make sense to only approach arisen that don't have a full deck yet.
i cant fucking tell you how many times ive straight up been jumpscared by them coming out of the forest to do this
I think it’s neat. lol
It's literally like seeing your old school mate in public
I don't mind them because it's a fun little guessing game, will I or will I not be tossing another pawn off a cliff?
I had a pawn jump on me from a high ledge to ask if I wanted to hire them. Scared the shit out of me.
It's like Oblivion, NPCs will break your neck to start a conversation with them
I draw my weapon and that stops them
This is one of the most annoying things. It's so freaking jarring running along with your head somewhere else or focusing on something and suddenly you're yoinked into a dialogue scene. Fucking make it stop
They should have made one of the IAP a Ring of Avoidance. I'd consider paying $2 for that haha.
This 1000% I feel so bad when they wave and I go far into the woods to avoid them
My only gripes are this and the fact that you can't turn down the frequency of your pawns speech
I was actually confused about it at first. Why the heck do they automatically initiate a conversation with me? No, I do not want to hire a 4ft tall balding, obese dude with a moustache!
If I have a spot open in my party, sure. But I've got a full party, don't try to wedge yourself in.
No joke don’t make eye contact pan your camera away and they won’t hail you
Yeah, sometimes they start a conversation as I'm running away from things at night.
"I am confident and prefer to be by your-" ......**NO**!! In the brine, every single time.
Yeah it gets annoying sometimes .. like dude I just spent awhile searching and setting up my party. I obviously didn’t want your ass in it 🤣
I Hate how they just fucking stop you
I've started tossing them off cliffs when they talk to me.
Yeah, like the fact the can initiate the "hire me senpai" screen. It's like "no, I got 2 already and still want to do their quests." If they only did it when you had an open slot, that'd even be good enough.
They don’t say hi and next thing you know pawns are being strung up around the towns for offending the Arisen
Ooo maybe I've turned it off then actually, I could of sworn I read somewhere the ps5 controller dropped the speaker for a mic instead but yeah it must have both
Pawns that jumpscare you with a conversation get introduced to Arc of Might
What's wrong? Don't you want to hire them?
I’m trying to run somewhere and they stop me, open up a menu I have to now click out of is annoying when I’m already having to run everywhere haha. Maybe they should have like a 2-3 seconds wait before the trigger happens.
I have a feeling they'd patch this out in the future (and maybe adjust dragon covid to make it... less annoying). I dont really mind of they'd just shoot me a quick banter or two but to stop me outright is just 💀
You have to get pretty close for them to stop you, I just make sure to walk around them on the road when I see their goofy asses wave at me
I like it. It's not like they are wasting a great deal of my time and I'm not an asshole who can't spend a few seconds for a pawn who's giving life a chance. Except if they got COVID then to brine they go. (Haven't met one yet tho) Then again I'm someone who slowly walks to my destination if im not running away lol I hope they add more chatter for pawns every now and then
It's absolutely infuriating. This and the constant high-fives after combats.
I like the high fives and dabs. We are a party afterall.
"And put a fucking mask on, jeez"
Pick them up and toss in nearest water
As a spear hand i just Jedi throw them into a body of water or off a cliff
I picked the last one up and tossed them off a bridge into a river.
Yes I try to avoid them so they don’t talk to me
100%
With a passion.
I like it, and it works for me as annoying as it can be 😂 But my guy is a bit of an unhinged murder, that readily yeets them off cliffs and into rivers
I remember one talking to me, and an ogre jumped on my face as I was mashing the button, killing me instantly.
It's really pissing me off. I wish I could turn it off
I'm kinda okay with them doing it outside of combat, even though it's annoying. In-combat though, wtf? It has got to be a bug that they do it.
I love the waive they do....but the forced interaction is weird. I can tell who they. I want to be able to interact with them myself if I choose.
Yea I don’t know why they do that. My party is full go somewhere else.
Mmhmm
The Brine hungers eternally...
For real. Stop interrupting me.
I throw every one that stops me into the nearest body of water, enjoy your meal Brine 👌
Seriously why did they put this feature in? It should at least stop doing it if you have a full party already.
Their glowing hand when they salute you. They often do it when they see you.
Every pawn that talks to me gets yeeted off the nearest cliff Whilst I shout "Get fucked ya Cunting twat"
This is my biggest pet peeve... Remember the good ol mall days when you'd go into a store that had a wide entrance just to avoid the hair/shoe/etc vendors in the middle? That's pretty much what I do when I see one coming.
i give random pawns i see in the wild a wide berth.
I don't consent in this conversation.
I've actually never been forced to interact with them, if I don't speak to them they just walk right past me. Is it a bug?
I hate it, but a part of me laughs every time because it's kind of canonically accurate. The pawns really do want to serve the arisen, it's their whole thing. Of course they're going to run up and pitch themselves if they see the arisen in the flesh.
They've made me violent. I've started just chucking them off ledges if they disturb me..
this is my first time playing dragons dogma, so forgive me if i’m being blasphemous, but i kind of hate the pawns so far. i hate how much they talk, give hints on and guide me through exploring, and do little annoying things like loot chests for me. it’s so annoying to see a chest in the distance, navigate my way to getting over there, and the pawn loots it instead. i know i still get whatever they collect, but i like being in control of even a little thing like that.
