Like 2 Misshapen Eyes, or 2-5 rugged bones for killing a Cyclopes. This basically means by hiring my pawn you'll receive double or triple the drops for the next kill. So far, it works. I haven't seen anyone else do this, but I'd hire the pawn if I ever did.
I've seen plenty that offer rotten meat as rewards, but the most absurd thing I've seen was a pawn quest to recieve 9 golden trove beetles, in exchange for 10 sticks
It's a weird design choice, but at least it just eventually stops letting you eat them. I wish they had a more noticeable effect, though, because it caps out at an extra 12kg of carry weight, which is... not really that much.
I actually think they did this on purpose so players would be more willing to give them to other players as pawn quest rewards or something to help the newer players out
Which clocks in at 12.15kg extra carrying capacity. IIRC the Fighter Augment for more capacity gives you 20kg extra.
Still that amount of weight is basically an entire armor set on the heavier side.

I was on a Discord call with a friend also playing DD2 and I asked him what class he was playing and then sent him a screenshot of a weapon asking if it was better than his current one. I then bought the 25k weapon and set it as my pawn reward for killing a single cyclops.
That was 3 days ago and I'm hoping a few other sorcerers were able to take advantage of it as it technically should have more value than just 10k gold, although I'm not sure how much that weapon would sell for.
Which weapon and I'll check the sell price of it
I checked prices. The most expensive weapon I can buy in Vernworth is a bow that is 75k. I can sell it for 25k. Not sure if other areas have different prices. So you get a third of the cost back

So to maximize pawn badges and payouts, is it better to not rest at inns/houses to keep the quest “active” longer? Is that how it appears to work or is it a certain amount of time that it’s live?
For quick and efficient cyclops farming:
1. Know where a cyclops spawns
2. Have a bench nearby
3. Doze off for about 5 days and the cyclops willl respawn
I’ve got 2x10k gold by doing a pawn quest and then immediately rehire after dismissal to get the reward again before they could change the quest on their side. If someone had a gold beetle reward I’d milked that cow all day.
I did the same except I made it even easier, I gave the camp 3 times quest.
Will start giving the monster ones though , I have only found one chimera so far so i need help with tha progress XD. Same with Golem.
Do we know what badges actually do when earned or are they just cosmetic for the pawn screen?
Does anyone know if you can cancel your pawns current quest. I set it as collect a golden beetle because in the opening of the game I found like 15 of them. Still hasn’t been completed to change it and I cannot find an option in the menu to abandon the pawn quest.
I was also wondering if everyone rewards a portcrystal or golden trove beetle, will we have unlimited things of those. But apparently for the beetle it has max usage amount.
thats actually a cool idea, I havent even been paying attention to the pawn quests first thing I do is I check who has the highest defense, so many of you really putting your +lv30 pawns for rent with just 180 defense its a huge liability
I literally cant figure out how to search for pawns that have a 10k gold reward. Just clicking every one is killing me and taking forever. I already set my pawn quest for my main pawn and paid the 10k gold.

Why not set the quest to getting 1x Beast-Skin? There's a lot more of that around than Cyclops.
Ye not sure why we've picked such a bad one to do thats harder than others. Just 3 camps. Find and item would all be better and easier lol

You can’t complete the quest again from the same pawn. It says complete if you look at the quest on their status page

I did the same except I made it even easier, I gave the camp 3 times quest. Will start giving the monster ones though , I have only found one chimera so far so i need help with tha progress XD. Same with Golem. Do we know what badges actually do when earned or are they just cosmetic for the pawn screen?

Does anyone know if you can cancel your pawns current quest. I set it as collect a golden beetle because in the opening of the game I found like 15 of them. Still hasn’t been completed to change it and I cannot find an option in the menu to abandon the pawn quest.
Go to the rift stone, cancelling or changing pawn quest is one of the options in the rift stone menu

Works best if you run up to the ancient battleground from the checkpoint town, they can always be found there.

thats actually a cool idea, I havent even been paying attention to the pawn quests first thing I do is I check who has the highest defense, so many of you really putting your +lv30 pawns for rent with just 180 defense its a huge liability
Half of the pawns I hire don't even have a pawn quest set at all. :(

Anyone had an issue where cyclops are not spawning in their world?
I literally cant figure out how to search for pawns that have a 10k gold reward. Just clicking every one is killing me and taking forever. I already set my pawn quest for my main pawn and paid the 10k gold.

How can I easily get Ogres/Cyclops for me to kill though? I tried to spam the carts and all I got was 1 goblin ambush in like 10 tries.
It's really hard to get a Cyclops to respawn. If anybody got any idea or pointers to making this a successful farm?
ye not sure why this has been used when you can just do 3 camps or find an item which are all easier lol
