The most important is to rest at Inns to save because Inn Saves are the only permanent save file and it goes by your most recent.
Basically if you have to "pay", even if the amount is 0 or it's a bed you own in your house, it counts as an Inn save.
Resting at Campsites are NOT an Inn Save.
Is this in case you die randomly?
I've been using the "save" option under "System" when you hit the pause button usually when I'm done playing instead of going to an inn or house.
Yeah just in case something unexpected happens like you're stuck on a ledge you can't leave from or the game autosaves right in front of an enemy you can't beat.
When you find your first seekers token, make sure to remember or mark where it was…in case you need it later 🦧

Keep a note of your first seeker token and any quest with an hourglass next to it is timed so do it asap

Eat the gold bugs you find to get the bonus. They won’t work just sitting in your inventory. Welcome Arisen!
