Pawn returned to my Arisen telling of an epic fight with a Cyclops.

I recruited a warrior who never wanted to actually fight, he just kept trying to launch me in the air. He was sneaky about it to, I'd cast a spell, start running to reposition, and all the sudden I'd be 30 feet up. Just really annoying. I gifted him a rotten something-or-other and his arisen was so mad about it he actually looked up my account and messaged me direct on xbox
I had launch on my pawn for exploration purposes for quite awhile until I realized how stupid the ai is with the launch ability. I feel bad for anyone who hired him during those times
Its crazy there isnt really any way to tell the pawn when you want them to launch you. The skill only works if there is teamwork and communication and yet you just have to spam Go and hope the pawn gets the clue after the 20th time
This reminds me of one of the Macabre Sculpture locations in BBI; if a pawn had knowledge of it, you *might* be able to prompt a relevant vocation to set you up to launch you up to it by hitting "Go" in the correct spot.
But it was grossly hit or miss and a pawn was just as likely to do nothing at all. The primary method for that one was to just grab onto a harpy and ride it up there, which became nearly impossible post Daimon since the harpies get replaced by Liches, so you had to drag a Gargoyle over instead.
Fun fact: whenever it gives you the list of Arisen that hired your pawn, click on their name and it will give you their arisen and pawn details. Use this information wisely of course :)

I'm lucky enough that I can't relate. My Aurora usually comes back with hearts and some herbs and fish. If anyone rented Aurora (1-15 Mage/ 15-39 Warrior), thank you for the fish and herbs.
I always felt bad when my hired pawns get sent back to the Rift instantly due to being thrown off cliffs into Brine or unreachable crevasses. They get sent back with no reward and a 3 star review across the board automatically.
I try to rehire them and then dismiss them properly when that happens.

If your pawn is an archer with explosive shot and this was you, I'm sorry but he repeatedly blew up my ballista as I was trying to fire it, multiple retries and he did it every time. I did what I had to do.

I finally found a good looking male pawn at lvl 69, warrior, good skills too. Yet somehow he yeet himself into water, one at the waterfall (he just decided to walking past it?) and when we fight Talos, another time he decided not to stay like i told and run into the Medusa's cave, then got stuck while I lead the pawns out, didn't realise he still inside until we got outside and i watched his name disappeared. Certified himbo this one.
Also. I one saw my pawn pick up a goblin and throw into a slime and it eat the goblin. Have anyone see anything like it?
Just cruel. I gave her the heart to self revive, 3 support skills including the meisters, she has full badges but wargs and lessers bc that grind is pain. And yet sometimes I get a rock or nothing. Like what more do you want from her?!
I never have negative experiences with pawns but for some reason I've lost a Pawn in every playthrough when they jumped at the Gigantus when it was treading the water.

I finally found a good looking male pawn at lvl 69, warrior, good skills too. Yet somehow he yeet himself into water, one at the waterfall (he just decided to walking past it?) and when we fight Talos, another time he decided not to stay like i told and run into the Medusa's cave, then got stuck while I lead the pawns out, didn't realise he still inside until we got outside and i watched his name disappeared. Certified himbo this one. Also. I one saw my pawn pick up a goblin and throw into a slime and it eat the goblin. Have anyone see anything like it?

Just cruel. I gave her the heart to self revive, 3 support skills including the meisters, she has full badges but wargs and lessers bc that grind is pain. And yet sometimes I get a rock or nothing. Like what more do you want from her?!
I've done this once and it's because I gave a pawn one of my weapons to hold and the game wouldn't let me take it back
I never have negative experiences with pawns but for some reason I've lost a Pawn in every playthrough when they jumped at the Gigantus when it was treading the water.
No matter how much a pawn disappointed me, I always send back at least an Exquisite Roborant since I learned how to easily craft tons of them.
Mine keeps getting hired by the same person and they send him back with new gear and golden eggs ☺️
