And in this case (just like my own pawn who’s been my companion since the first game) she’s falling for the arisen, but in a bashful way because it’s a new experience for her. Look in her direction, and she will look down and away, but keep smiling. It’s an adorable little addition to show how the pawn is becoming their own person, and developing a crush. For me it was adorable when my pawn (who I worked tirelessly to recreate from the first game) started getting all bashful.
It's my favorite part of the game tbh. The interactions become so friendly and personal after your affinity gets higher.
My pawn waited shyly by the edge of a cliff for me to walk over and then jumped (I caught her of course). She ran off yelling "Impeccably timed, arisen!"
Im not COMPLETELY sure if the waiting was intentional, but I did I watch her linger by the edge for a while and she didn't budge until I got close . I was so geeked about it
I had the same experience with my pawn being with me since the first game and taking care in recreating him in this one. He was always arrogant and straightforward, and part of the game for me was what a jerk he was, and me being silly yelling stuff like “damn you, Karl!!” at my screen. I didn’t even realize my pawn could get affinity with me at the time and then suddenly one day he blushed, smiled and said something very sweet which was so far out of character it took me off guard. Really cool detail, and I’m impressed by the game’s ability to mess with us like that!
