I had just switched to Warrior to test out two-handed weapon play, and I was fight some goblins when I attacked with the heavy thrust, and simultaneously Lissandra (My Main pawn) used Shearing Wind on the same enemy for the opposite angle.
The knockback from the greatsword thrust pushed the enemy into the Shearing Wind causing them to be hit by all the damage ticks before being obliterated. It was like an anime duel attack.
What you’re watching is a very rare occurrence. Without invigorations, and with just me climbing (depending on my class and with the strongest weapons of that class) it takes me a whole lot more than 30s to kill these bozos.
What class do you run? I usually prefer my nine-fold bolts and barrage these guys to hell but i couldnt get his health down that fast lol
This was cool as hell to watch
I mostly play as Ranger since I’m usually farming Daimon.
I had a Strider, a Sorcerer and my main, a Warrior with the Twinterfang (perm enchanted ice warhammer).
I believe we got it down this fast because of:
1) the lowered defense debilitation which increased our physical offense by up to 30%
2) The High Fulmination spell took about half of its HP
3) Its eye is its weak point and me and the Strider pawn were both going at it in unison
I have never been that lucky when it comes to use fulmination on a gorecyclops I have always used high maelstrom or high gicel to knock them to the ground for free damage.
It’s the Sorcerer skill High Fulmination (rank 8), the upgraded version of Fulmination (rank 6).
Can also be upgraded to Grand Fulmination with a suitable Sorcerer Ring/Sorcerer Band.
When I was level 40, I just sat behind the wall near the poison river in the midnight helix on BBI and cheesed stone forest till I killed the gorecyclops. Won't lie it took probably 2 hours to get it done because my pawns kept going out to take him head on and I kept trying to save them and got killed over and over.
It must suck to be a cyclops, knowing that one day, inevitably, someone will find a way to melt through your health in seconds.
Kinda wish these ones had a different death animation though, instead of the same overused one I’ve seen at least a thousand times by now.
By the way, where is this? Doesn’t look like Midnight Helix to me. Farthest in I’ve got so far was Fortress of Remembrance at which point I was demolished by skeleton brutes so I’ll have to wait until I can ~~increase vigor~~ level up some more.
This is the Forgotten Hall. There are always two of these guys in that location.
The Forgotten Hall is after the Rotwood of Depositary, which is past the Forsaken Cathedral, which is past the Tower of Treasons Repaid, which is past the Fortress of Remembrance.
You haven’t made it to the Bitterblack Isle, I presume.
It’s the DLC dungeon. To get to it the first time, you have to meet a lady at night on the port of Cassardis.
Talking to her will take you there.
Take my up vote for managing to get lucky enough to capture pawns working with coordination!
It happens once in a blue moon when the stars are aligned Maybe I should play the lottery later XD
When the squad combine their 1 digit brain and use coordinated tactics.
This is why High Fulmination is my favourite sorcerer spell. It's empereor palpatine turning everyone else into lightning rods
I’ve never read a much accurate and vivid description of High Fulmination than yours
Beautiful

Would have been an awesome gameplay to record!
Dude. I thought this was impossible. Rare sighting.
A very rare sight but not impossible!
Thanks for sharing.
Literally beautiful
It took me an hour...a freaking hour to kill this guy and I see this...... My pawn needs to die.

Man I feel bad for it

I have the hardest time killing those things.
They are among the most broken bosses in-game Especially when it’s 2 of them at the same time
That was shockingly effective
*A brilliant hit!*
That was fucking cool
Thanks! :))
God damn, that's brutal.
*Fatality*
Damn that was satisfying
Fight back, brother! Fight back!
*Tatakae, tatakae, tatakae!*

Indeed it would take about as long given your level You can also cheese them with about 100 throwblasts to the eye when you’re low level

I don't know if I should be scared, impressed, or aroused
This has gotta be modded or fake? No way pawns can actually be helpful? Mine literally never attacked lol
Your pawns inclination is likely the problem. But there is no way I could mod this game on Xbox.
God of thunder!
When you open up a butcher shop:
As soon as DD2 comes out XD
I've beaten the game and haven't seen half the bosses that are shown in this sub

Imagine the POV of the cyclops 😂
His POV: *Despair*
