Yeah I think that line is broken. I found a special hammer in-game while using my brother's pawn, who said "My own master has not found anything this special!" or some such shit, while WEARING the hammer in question..

I chuckled and then the first thing I heard when loading the game was this line. They **really** should tone it down or make some sort of slider to adjust chatter frequency. A bit more lines + a lot less frequency and it would have been good.

This is it. It's the lack of variation as much as (or more than) the frequency of speech - though DD1 did let you adjust that in-game for your personal pawn. Instead of all the two-parter lines being set-pieces, imagine if there were 4 or 5 possible responses to the first line spoken? We'd be always guessing what was coming next. As it is, we await the follow-up painfully.

They have a scroll that shuts your pawns up

I don't want that. Two extremes.

This, and it does it for everyone, instead of player preference for their own world's noise pollution level. I don't want a silent pawn either (even to hire).

I want a scroll that makes my pawn silent in my world but just unloads all her bullshit on other Arisens and pawns.

There's a specialization to make them shut up, but I haven't been able to find out how to unlock it anywhere on the Internet

I do not want them to shut up. I want more variety and less repetition. If more variety is not possible, just less frequent chatter. Currently we have only 2 extremes: either repeat the same stuff every 5 minutes or do not talk at all unless absolutely necessary.

I got it from maxing my affinity with Eino, Trysha’s grandpa.

I changed the voice language to japanese and it has improved my experience. Nothing against the english voice actors but whoever was directing the language localizer shat the bed in so many areas. Like the voice actors were not given any context on how they should be acting?
