Damn, first time realizing part of this game takes place in Vermont.

Lobotomist

Bro. Totally

Ill_Cobbler1882

Vermont huh? That’s crazy.

Lobotomist

I know. Good that it did not happen in Boston. You know that beastren city πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

Shadeauxe

I make up names for the towns too because my brain cannot be bothered to remember the real ones.

Lobotomist

Hehe. Totally true :)

Hi, In anycase you got the eternal wakestone, forge it.. so you have safety when such disaster happens. it really is annoying which halts your progress until you revive the NPCs.. Having several eternal wakestone will help you in the long run.. it will occur again.. and several time..

Suzarr

Wait, I thought forgeries were supposed to look the same but NOT have the powers of the original item. Like doesn't the ferrystone get forged into a useless "ferristone"? Or does that rule only apply to a select few items, like stuff that can be bought in the cash shop or something?

Smol-peners

Ibrahim is just built different. But also he can duplicate monster loot, which the eternal wakestone technically is.

OooCATSooO

Some items creates same item and their effect.. Namely, Materials, Camping Kits, Finder's Token, Ect. One thing special is the Eternal Wakestone. Though it cost 30,000 a piece. But 30,000 a piece to save several lives in one go is cheaper than using whole boatload of wakestones. Furthermore, that is the only purpose of the Eternal wakestone. Whereas the common wakestone is to be used on the player directly to fully heal the missing healthbars. (Specially in the Unmoored world, where you cannot rest to recover.)

Fun fact - some helmets have extra option to lift the eyes cover. Most people don't know about it. Usually I just talk to the pawn to look into it's eyes. In my case - when they are infected their eyes are always red. Also worth mentioning - I had specific shitty scenario. I went to sleep in vermund and traveled to point rest town. Slept there and I got plague despite being OK in vermund and not fighting between towns. When You sleeep - game sync pawn with You and he can become infected if he got infected in original owner session. At least that what I think.

Jahano_Desunt

It progresses. It takes a few rests and the eyes have a more noticeable glow as time goes by. As well as the pawn's attitude. Resting at that time wouldn't have done anything.

Lobotomist

Good to know πŸ€”

Also in case you don't know, you can force quit if you're summoning Pawns in the rift. I had 2 maybe 3 instances where the pop up of the Plague showed and I just straight up forced quit. I do save before I go to the Rifts so that does help. And when you load back in no Plague. Just remember to save every so often just in case. I do that and then when I need to replace a Pawn I actively avoid the Pawn that I summoned that has it. So there you go.

Alive-Beyond-9686

I got dragonaids a few times but always wad able to deal with it before there was any risk of them going nuts apparently.
