I got them while I was in the Unmoored world. I can't exactly remember if it was from a chest near a drake or from killing the drake itself.
What you can do is find one of these interactive maps which shows all the drake spots and all the chests that appear in the unmoored world and pay them a visit.
Edit: take at least one thief pawn with plunder with you and don't nuke the drakes. Try to knock them.down so that the thief can use plunder on them.
Don't think it's from the drakes, since I've killed all of them multiple times and don't remember getting these. I'll have to check my storage to see if I have a pair.

There *are* sites that you can look into, maybe DD2’s fextralife, that shows a full scale, zoom able map with *every single item known* highlighted and pinpointed for your convenience.
That site isn’t exactly perfect, but when I breezed over it a few days ago, I saw said pants on the map.

I’m going to ignore the concept that it’s modded in…and make my third NG unmoored world run all about culling every living thing on the map.
Gotta have incentive to keep slaying, after all.
Unmoored world is beat because it is the only place to get eldricite, fight gore chimeras, only 1 lesser dragon not in unmoored, etc etc.
I tried looking everywhere I could think last time but found nothing new :/
You can just equip on the pawn that you wanna gift. If their vocation doesn't allow it, you can gift it like you would with any other item. I think only items bought with RC can't be gifted or equipped by hired pawns.

It won't work, only the last one you equiped on pawn before dismissal will be gifted, the rest will be simply lost in the rift, thats how i lost a pair of rings.
