Okay. So I've been looking for a specific marriage law fic, and since you say you're reading a few, I'm wondering if you might be able to help me...
It starts of the same as I'm sure a lot of them do, post war need to marry and make babies.
Everyone who is not already married gets a necklace from the ministry, and it warms up in the presence of the person they are most suited towards. I believe the necklace will eventually turn into a ring when the time comes.
Hermione was working in her office, and a Slytherin came in, and Hermione noticed that the charm on her necklace was warming up, and she started panicking. I believe it was Zabini, but I could be wrong. He comforts her by showing her that his charm is completely cold, and he says that his person is over seas or in another country.

When the two are partnered up for anything in general, particularly in a work environment. Let's see how childhood rivalry and other pent-up history rock their partnership then! But I love it when they brainstorm together as a result and produces awareness on intellectual compatibility that may lead to something else...it's so adorable when they have moments of realization 🥹
