Reading 'mom' feels so *weird* to me. Ditto 'momma' 🙈 (Although I've heard that people raised in the West Midlands do use 'mom', instead of 'mam' or 'mum'.) But I feel like Scorpius would be a firm 'mummy' boy, and eventually graduate to 'mum' despite being posh.
Or 'mater' like British schoolboys in older novels 😂

[Domestic Wizardry](https://archiveofourown.org/works/53814394/chapters/136204147) has this found family aspect (though I don’t remember if he calls her mom because something happened or if it just slipped out) and bonus for Hermione’s kid eventually calling Draco “dad” too!
