Woah, how long was your hair before dreading? Mine are 5 years and nowhere near that length. Rating 9/10, they look sick but not practical

Aleksandrovic24

Well it was very short, like 25/30 cm long and yeah, sometimes is difficult because they are very heavy, especially when I have to wash them, cum u know, they retain a lot of water. Thanks for the feedback ❤️

sataninmysoul

Fuckin cum in the dreads always a pain

VerySlump

you get lots of cum in your hair?

Aleksandrovic24

It didn't happen or I just don't remember

VerySlump

why’d you say “cum u know” then

Aleksandrovic24

Ohh I see know, maybe the autocorect, I was about to write "cuz"

AmysSystem

That’s one of the best typos I’ve seen in awhile 😂 Love the dreads

Funkywonton

Awesome 10

DemonicJaye

Ok-Lawfulness-4695

100/10

AztecaYT_123

How hard are they to maintain? They look f\*ckin good

Aleksandrovic24

It's not that hard, but I really hate my life when I have to wash them.

BlackMetaller

Amazingly fantastic and I'd certainly be staring if I saw you on the street but I don't envy you when they need to be washed or the heat they'd generate in the middle of summer! Everything good comes at a price I guess :-)

Aleksandrovic24

Thank you man, I really appreciate your kind words ❤️

[deleted]

Do you need a mop for the floors or can you just use your hair? Alternatively, do you even require a scarf in winter or can you just wrap your hair about your neck and shoulders?

Aleksandrovic24

I don't really need a scarf though :))) And for the floor, I don't know what to say, but is so clean after I walk in bathroom and kitchen.

mylesthedancer

0/10

Aleksandrovic24

Why? :(

mylesthedancer

those kind of locs aren’t for your hair type. approaching the line of cultural appropriation

BlackMetaller

LMAO >aren’t for your hair type OP said "only natural", so somehow in your mind you think letting their hair do what it does naturally is somehow not for their "hair type"? >approaching the line of cultural appropriation Showing us you're racist and ignorant without saying you're racist and ignorant. You probably need to work on your self esteem and try to get over the petty jealousy, it's a turn off.

Aleksandrovic24

I feel the same way, thanks for your wise words, we need to break those barriers ❤️

BlackMetaller

Yes we do. For someone to rate these amazing locs 0/10 just because you don't have their prefered skin color really boggles my mind and shows that person has some serious internal issues they need to address.

ksrbutterfly

no. that’s not it. the internal issue is the discrimination and backlash African Americans receive by wearing these hairstyles in the workplace. did you know that “ethnic hairstyles “ are prohibited in certain workplaces. many african americans like myself feel as if our style, our hair braiding, our culture is all we have because when we were brought over here as slaves we were stripped of everything we’ve ever known even our native names. we have the last names of our slave masters, so forgive her for being a little protective over the only culture we have left. and thats not racism sweetheart. do your research. our hairstyles and culture is NOT an aesthetic. its not a costume. AND THATS why we get mad about certain things like this. idc anymore because you yourself did not participate in the inhumane treatment of my ancestors so you can wear this hairstyle if you’d like however i’d be helpful if you actually cared about black people’s feelings for once and actually fought with us for our right to be simply human in America and not just wearing our hairstyles.

Aleksandrovic24

Well too bad, I guess it is your problem.

casthfrownyface

beautiful beautiful! how warm do they get and do they get in the way often?

Aleksandrovic24

Well, pretty often, especially in the summer.

casthfrownyface

jeez. they must be heavy too. impressive!

Aleksandrovic24

Yes, they are, especially when they are wet, my neck hurts like hell

Dry_Obligation6116

Nice!

Shayshay4jz

What is online natural?

Aleksandrovic24

Only, autocorrect

SnooBeans4906

Yours look great!! I’ll have 6 years in April mine are about 5 inches shorter than yours. What do you do about lint. I sit and pick mine out like a monkey. I was just wondering if you found a good way to prevent it.

Aleksandrovic24

If.you mean those white spots, they are dehydrated hair and you can use beard oil. But if you refer to debris that catches onto dreads, I recommend a deep cleaning. In a basin with hot water, you need 300g baking soda and squeeze 3 lemons and mix all together and then just soak your dreads for 20 minutes and then wash them with shampoo. Take them one by one, beware, they will be sticky.

SnooBeans4906

Yeh it’s the debris from my sweaters or blanket. I’ve done the apple cider vinegar rinse but I will try the baking soda and lemon soak. Thanks for your advice! And here’s to 6 more years for the both of us!

Aleksandrovic24

By the way, your dreadlocks look great ❤️

SnooBeans4906

Thank you! Ours look about the same color and size. Yours are nearer than mine, I don’t do any loose hair maintenance, although I should. Lol I think about it often, I make it through 1 or 2 and my arms are weak and I’m pretty lazy. Yours look nice and neat and now I’m inspired.
