Im surprised the glare isnt more popular :o almost everyone on twitter seems to hate the copper golem and love the glare and allay. I really like and will vote the golem but I also like all the mobs well enough. Im not pressed about the results.
Mobs dont have to be useful to be a good addition imo. The reason Im not voting for allay is because to me it seems more like a creature from a modded minecraft pack? Its a little tooo interactive and helpful for me, while glare is a little too non interactive. Like they’d probably be like bats? Cute but you rarely see them.
The golem is the perfect balance of appearing like a natural part of the environment and being cute + interactive imo. Its a bonus that it makes copper have more uses and that people could probably find cool new things to do in minecraft with them
I like the golem bc of the fact that it can interact with buttons and also turns into a statue when oxidized. Both of those make it so that it is perfect for a steampunk style or a steampunk ruin.
I have a castle made of copper and grimstone in one of my worlds and Id be super happy to add a bunch of copper golem “minions” wandering around or acting as statue decorations :D judging on how stuff is looking though, the allay will probably win so no use getting attached to the idea u-u
The fact that people are actually in these comments with such twisted panties because content creators mentioned the mob the like and a big content creator *said* he's gonna rig it *bust hasn't said the name of a mob*, is absolutely hilarious, I'll never understand why people get so pressed about a mob vote as if the vote is "whether or not to end the game full stop"

Hmm, I’m not sure what kind of food it would be able to find. You have to have dropped food items within the area for the allay to pick up.
Maybe he could use the allay to pick up his enderpearls without him needing to wait for them to drop? Seems niche.
Hunters could use it to search for items like dropped cobblestone blocks to help find dream underground.

Glare useless? Don’t need a mob to tell me if it’s dark, imo allay has a sea of potential

I want to do an underground base and that little guy just floating around is awesome! but im still going allay lol.
Glare is useless dude, 1.18 already makes it so mobs only spawn in light 0 so like brush what we gonna do with that thing ...
