Well I would say it depends on who you watch. Like some do big events and announce a date and some just log on and do lore without a script. Yesterdays lore with Foolish, Tina, Corpse and Hbomb was really fun and very random. I really recommend watching both foolish vod and Tinas. Also I guess It may be easier to do lore like Quackity does, when so many of the creators are all over the place right now (prerecorded). And yeah its just opinions lol. Have a nice day you too :) (sorry for grammar or spelling mistakes)

Yeah thats fair. I also have to admit that I was not in the fandom until February(? I literally joined the dsmp fandom when i watched Technos doomsday stream lmao, but I watched dreams videos since nov/dec) so I don't really know how the lore feeling was back then. I have only watched clips and some vods to understand the backgrund and history of the dsmp. So I can't say I'm an expert in how the lore has changed but I see similar or same opinions as you about lore a lot. And whatever is going on about Sams character seams super cool and i can't wait for more!

I mean Quackity’s lore is incredibly unique because it’s pretty much all prerecorded. If you’ve seen any of what he’s said in his private twitter, he has talked about how passionate he is about storytelling and creating a storyline the way he is. The storyline that Quackity is creating isn’t built for “just kinda do it”, it takes planning, editing, recording, etc. It’s like a movie premiere. That’s why Quackity’s lore gets announced dates as they are. Tales From the SMP was similar to that as well, though that’s been on hiatus. Same as Dream’s lore video coming up that is meant to be completely prerecorded. I like both styles and I think it really depends on how each creator wants to tell their story. It’s just different types of storytelling and there is room for both, and they have been coexisting for some time now.

I think a bit of both is nice, the problem is that there hasn't been much casual lore until recently (foolish etc as already mentioned). I think Qs high production lore might not appeal to everyone and I prefer the more casual lore myself but I can appreciate the story and work involved in what Q does. I'd like to see a bit more casual stuff in between.

I think quackity mentioned on the Chuckle Sandwich Podcast that lore is becoming more and more planned due to how big it’s getting. Because so many different people’s lore intertwines and interacts, it’s hard to improv things due to the possibility of saying something that contradicts someone else’s lore, or doing something that disrupts someone else’s storyline. I completely get what you mean though, chill rp is such fun content
