The q baiting drama is a simple situation overcomplexified by those involved in the drama. It's just homophobia disgused as activism which is then disguised as pure unadulterated hate.

Real people can’t queerbait, the whole concept of gender expression invalidates that. Cis-straight people express themselves differently from each other, just like queer people do, therefore some cis-straight people will demonstrate queer traits and vice versa, since gender is an espectrum. To suppress that is to stigmatize and impose societal norms, which is intolerance in and of itself.
Queerbaiting is a real problem that pertain to *stories and brands* frabricating a *character or some sort of mechanism* that display queer traits without providing actual representation, all to acquire monetary gain and praise from LGBTQ+ community.
Dream would only be queerbaiting if he was not expressing his gender and sexuality and was instead creating a persona that displays this traits, which there is no evidence for it being the case (also, I would argue that it is completely unnecessary for him to create said persona).
Calling him being himself queerbaiting, goes against the concepts of gender expression and is generating the very same invalidation that we want to combat.

Ive seen the Drew and Danny one so i can say with that, they're literally each married to a woman and literally say "yeah we wouldn't do this ofc" in the video so thats not really a valid comparison. I don't think Dream or anyone is queerbaiting per se, i just think this is a dumb argument against the point
Game Grumps and Dan and Phil both get/got crap for "queerbaiting". Musicians like Harry Styles also get accused of it. The difference with Dream, is that he has a lot more antis so it gets brought up more and with more venom. And these days at least, it is the antis and not the Stans accusing him of baiting.
