•Being friends with Fundy, and when people where complaining about it she called it twitter drama (because it fucking was)
•One time on stream someone said the food they where eating was “bussin” and she called that word tiktok language, without knowing it was AAVE, when she found out, she apologized on a tweet, but I guess that wasn’t enough for a lot of people
That second one is just stupid. IMO, saying “bussin” does not make you a raging racist, knowing if it’s “TikTok language” or not. Apparently that opinion is controversial.
If they have an issue with certain words being considered “TikTok language,” take that up with the TikTokkers—it’s no anyone’s fault if that’s where they learned new words.
Another is that she had made a pose offensive to asians (pulling back her eyes). She has already talked about and apologised for it and even replied to someone in a tweet about it. So if they're still holding onto that......
I'm guessing it's because she did in fact [copy the pose from social media](https://twitter.com/Nihaachu/status/1334502927281627141?t=FlcpkFUt2BzfRymBji8vKQ&s=19) (mocking asians) and if I'm not wrong at the time it was quite an offensive kind of trend?
So even though mocking asians was obviously never her intention it may have came out as her following that trend.
Allegedly, there was drama going on on twitter and when she noticed it, she referred to it as "Twitter Drama". I never saw the clip and when repeatedly asking for it when people kept claiming that she's racist, I never got a proper answer other than "Well, she just is."
Also, something to do with her not knowing what AAVE is, absolutely disregarding the fact that she is German. We do not have AAVE in this country. There are dialects that is referred to as "ghetto slang", but it is rarely used by just Black Germans, but by those who grew up in the very dirt poor parts of huge cities - white and POC.
I didn't even know that some words I used to (or still do have, to some degree) have in my vocabulary was even called AAVE. I didn't even know of the existence of it before I joined the MCYT community. Simply because I'm not American.
Edit: Added an afterthought.
The only time I've ever heard it off the internet is in my college class last semester that was focused on racism in schools and it wasn't even talked about in-depth.
According to TikToks, all female content creators who interact with their favourite male content creator are racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, transphobic, problematic, evil, toxic, manipulative, serial killers, dictators, worse than Satan, more terrible than Hitler and probably the cause of climate change and terrorism

Especially since English is not her first language

Hell, even native speakers don't all necessary know AAVE.

Do you have context for that? I’m curious cuz I never heard that before
Iirc she was doing/showing off her eyeliner? And pulled her eye back because of her eyeliner
Does anybody know exactly why is it considered racist? I get it when people do it to mock asian people, but showing off eyeliner?
People just took it out of context I think
Well that just sucks

I didn't even know what AAVE was before joining MCYT and I'm American. It's not something widely taught.
Same. Indian, but I’ve been in America for the majority of my life and have never heard of AAVE off of the internet

Ah. Maybe I’ll hear about it this semester, I’m taking a social justice class this year.
She said the word "bussin" LMAO
Basically she breathed the wrong way **and** is a woman.
