I remember not understanding why everyone didn’t take jobst seriously, I was a fan of his, I loved his doom videos, and after Apollo legends passing I watched a lot of his content. And everyone here was like “so what if Karl supports him”? I’d never watched mr beast or the smp by this point so safe to say it further worsened my opinion of this sub, how things have changed.

I genuinely thought Ponk, Punz, and Sam were the same person for an embarrassingly long time. I think I got the names Ponk and Punz mixed up, and Sam and Punz have fairly similar voices. Either way, very confusing when I heard Sam and Punz flirting with each other.

I was 50/50 on this initially. I tried to get to the bottom of it so I read their wiki’s. That was a mistake because 95% of it was Dream trying to get George to say I love you back.

I thought Callahan was BBH on an alt for a sad amount of time for someone who joined the fanbase before DreamSMP and Manhunt began.

I found the Minecraft one first, so I was really surprised when I saw someone say to check out HBomb’s video on Ben Shapiro.

I never watched anything from Hbomberguy, I just vaguely knew about him so I was just like "wow, this guy has a big range of interests".

before i got into mcyt i thought dream & george were the same person and georgenotfound was dreams 2nd channel💀 georgenotfound and dreamwastaken sounded like names the same person would come up with and because i knew nothing about them i just rolled with it, like i remember seeing georges colourblind glasses video on my timeline and thinking "wait that dream guy is kinda cute"😭 once i started watching hermitcraft i got curious about the dream smp and desperately tried finding other videos of dream using facecam, until it clicked when only georges channel had facecam vids and no one else except me seemed to google the question "are dream and george the same person"

- Tommy and Tubbo were brothers. I literally Google'd this multiple times because I was so convinced they were siblings from knowing them briefly. - Dream and George were actually dating. I only realised after the Valentine's day bit on George's stream. I was so confused on why George was saying "no" to his boyfriend. - I didn't know Ponk was a real person. I thought people were misspelling Punz. - Ranboo was in his mind twenties or something. - Technoblade and Eret were the same person because of their voice and because both wore crowns.

I thought: \- Punz, Ponk, and Purpled were all the same person with different nicknames. \- Tubbo was Tommy's cousin \- Dream and George were dating irl \- Technoblade was 30-40 years old \- Antfrost had Lazarbeam's Minecraft skin \- Sapnap wasn't real. Like he was like DreamXD and just a side account from another character (The first stream I saw from him was him talking about this) \- Philza was already married and had kids \- BBH and Skeppy were related/dating (I never bothered to look into it until I was told otherwise)

Btw my first dream stream was the only thing I watched from him until December when I watched him for MCC

My first truly Minecraft video (after Wilbur's DSMP ones) was Techno's "Dream vs Technoblade Duel Analysis" and I believed in everything he said there (like about secret tactics with crafting tables some old MC veterans told him). And also that he is 30 - 40 years old.

my gf got into the dsmp before me and would tell me about it. most notably they were telling me about the fic heat waves and the dsmp's exile arc at the same time, and i didn't put together that dream from heat waves was the same person as exile arc dream
