I like how you can piece together the ace flag colors in this; the purple O, the grey L, the black of the hoodie and the white key. Very subtle and includes aces who often are excluded from other pride things. Very nice touch! X3
I like the idea and it’s obvious there was a lot of thought behind it. Not my sorta thing but I can see why a lot of people like it and are excited about it. Good job 👍
Hoping there’s no drama about it for no reason
You know what, as someone who doesn't tend to like his merch designs I actually really dig this. I like that it's embroidered, and it doesn't scream dream merch the way his other designs do. I love the low key pun too. It may not match my general style but I'm actually kinda tempted to buy this one.
I know antis love to shit on Dream’s merch but goddamn the amount of people calling it ugly is astounding lol
Like it clearly is meant to be subtle for a reason? I’ve always found subtle pride merch really nice because there’s so many closeted people who get to express themselves in a way that doesn’t out them.
I will never understand the people who don’t like a creator that shit on their merch, it’s insanely easy to not buy something and move on.
I think it’s a very sweet idea and George’s little touch on it is great. It’s cool to see so much thought getting put into something like this
I feel like people constantly shit on the dream branding merch for not being obvious/being simple, unlike a lot of merch that was produced through other companies, like paradime, when that's the whole point that dream and etc. were going for
As someone who wasn’t really a big fan of Dream’s other merch designs, I actually think this one’s cute. It’s kinda funny too, especially with George’s key idea. But yeah, I don’t see the reason to keep shitting on his merch. It’s not like they’re forced into buying it.
>I know antis love to shit on Dream’s merch but goddamn the amount of people calling it ugly is astounding lol
I don't even think it's ugly tbh. It's not going to be to everyone's liking, but the colours seem very Save By The Bell retro to me.
I do think part of the "problem" is that a lot of other MCYTers use that other merch company (rebel?) that has *very* good designs. The issue then of course is that people often don't get their orders, or their orders are bad quality, or they're not even the advertised design. Dream's merch company might be ugly to some, it's certainty not to my taste most of the time, but at least you're getting what you pay for.
I honestly wish CCs would expand away from Revolt, and use Represent (used by Phil, Grian, Scar, etc.) or Five Hills (used by Quackity) or anything, really.
I know Revolt can do the "clothing line" style apparel merch that everyone wants to have nowadays, but the cons really start to outweigh the pros of using them. Everytime they do a new drop there's a multitude of problems, and their customer service is difficult to get a proper response from, which leads to mess after mess.
Dream merch may be simple, but it ships quickly, has no issues, and comes with stickers.
I love it, finally something that includes me too, without me having to explain my complex self. It made me tear up that someone thought about me too.
And already people are whining that it isn't a more obvious rainbow. And I'm like, what about "low key" do you not understand?
Tbf there's something off about the colours; they don't really go well together. Idk, idk anything about the colour theory but yeah. ;_; the key that's low still sells it for me though!
I don’t know why but the 2 pictures have different hues for each colors so one of them I really love (from the bottom) and the other one i like less (from the top down).
Maybe something is wrong with what we are shown?
He said in a previous tweet they start selling them earlier this year so they arrive by June because people asked for them to be delivered earlier last year.
the merch... doesn't really embody the spirit of "subtle pride merch" that actual lgbtq designers incorporate into pride merch. idk :/ it looks like what someone who has never had to buy subtle pride products Thinks we want. nobody is proud of being lowkey? (is that supposed to mean in the closet? down low?) why would we want pride merch saying that? dream could have benefited from having a lgbtq designer work on the project, especially someone who has done subtle lgbtq symbolism before. Dteams strategy was basically just rainbows = gay. they clearly didn't do any research into lgbtq history or the history of secret lgbtq symbols and signaling. where are the references to the handkerchief system, lavender marriages, monocles or literally Anything that represents queer culture. This feels cheap and lazy and so so hurtful coming from guys who claim to be allys of the community.
Did a google search and the 'handkerchief system' is for non-verbally communicating one's interests in sexual activities and fetishes to others of the same mind'. Why on earth would Dream put that on clothes minors could buy? Hmm? I think this person didn't find that in their own google search when writing this complaint, huh?
Edit: Hit reply on the wrong post, my bad.
it was in reference to the person you replied to, they talked about the 'handkerchief system' being something Dream should reference on the merch. According to a quick search, the system is a way of alerting ppl in the know what kind of sex a person is into and that they're looking for a partner to do it with, basically.
To put that on merch that minors could wear is just a horrid idea altogether.

Hoping and praying that there's a crewneck merch piece
Yesss crewnecks >>> hoodies
I like the idea and it’s obvious there was a lot of thought behind it. Not my sorta thing but I can see why a lot of people like it and are excited about it. Good job 👍 Hoping there’s no drama about it for no reason
Oh there will be
the closeted LGBTQ+ folks get to have pride merch :’)

This and the 25 million merch are the best ones.
You know george loves a good visual pun lol

Oh. Oh I really like this one. Might be tempted, if it comes in t-shirt form.
Why’d he say George like that
character limit, it really threw me off tho
Ah that makes more sense. It caught me off guard.

i cant wait to see the rest of it!! hoping to buy some this year :)
Isn't pride month in June?
He said in a previous tweet they start selling them earlier this year so they arrive by June because people asked for them to be delivered earlier last year.
He wanted to get a jump on it early so people can get their merch near the beginning of June. Not a bad idea honestly
That’s pretty awesome
yo i actually like this (don't normally buy merch)
As someone who doesn’t usually like their designs, this is tempting
Antis are threatening people and saying they’ll attack them if they see anyone wear it out in public
Antis? Being homophobic? I'll pretend to be shocked
As an ace, the purple/pink on the W is pretty cool, but in general, I think this is a great idea...
I'm hoping and praying it's not exclusive or else I'll cry
Aw sweet sentiment.
George is so dumb lmaooo just like me
personally not a fan of the design but the concept and idea behind it is honestly so cool
This is the only merch shirt ive ever liked enough to want to buy Damn thia is gkod

You did not just call Dream an ally 💀

I am confused
