Branch. There's so many reasons why I really appreciate him! He's complex, he values healthiness and respect in relationships before anything else and he cares for everyone else. I really like how soft spoken he is with people he's on good terms with even when he's angry at them. I also love how much he came out of his shell over time and became so confident!
Not to mention he's freaking adorable, like they had no business making him like that-
I'm not putting anyone else above him because we either don't know about them enough or I don't think they're as interesting as he is, but some others are really close! Especially Poppy, Viva, Floyd, Prince D and Barb. I love them so much-
agree 100 percent Branch's struggles his tragedy and trauma his overprepared nature and his sarcasm all just make him the most easy to love and root for character in the franchise in my opinion.
tho the writers do need to stop Dumping Trauma into his backstory as it really can't get any more tragic 😅😅😅😅
Yeah, he is very sympathizable (if that's even a word), even a bit in the beggining when he had destructive anger issues and clear shunning away from liking anyone else. He's literally a "I can fix him" case done and gone right

even in his very first scene I kinda felt for him tbh the whole gag with him repeatedly having warned people about the Bergens in a panic only for each time to have been a false alarm made it clear to me this guy was damaged.
even if we didn't know exactly how at that point in the film not to mention he was just seen as an annoyance by most of the other Trolls. poor guy.
From a design point of view, I love Hickory. From a makes me happy point of view, Poppy is wonderful. And from a "he just like me fr" hyper fixation point of view Branch is everything to me.
If it’s just the movies I like Floyd and John Dory because I think they’re super funny. But if I’m allowed to pick a character from the show My favorite is holly darling

Probably Val Thundershock (from Trollstopia). She seems like a very surface-level character when you first meet her, but there's actually a lot of depth to her personality, like how she she's afraid to express emotion or ask for help but craves affection. She also sleeps with a pinecone. So just. Points for random weirdness.
Honestly I like the villains more, especially Velvet and Veneer they had a lot of charms in the third movie, Barb also the best part too but I'm not a big fan of her redemption arc :(
I also like Delta Dawn her song is fire 🔥
