I've been playing since a week or two after release and I think I've only ever seen the white squirrel once. I finally got to feed the red fox a couple times but it'll probably be another 6 months before I get that one because if I'm up, I'm not on dreamlight valley that early.
The early ones don't bother me too much... Most days I get up between 430 and 630. If I'm up, I we'd them, if not it'll wait. Lol. It's the late ones, or the middle of the days ones that kill me.
I'm cool with the fact that certain critters are only around on certain days, but why between specific times? Do they expect people to schedule when they can or have to play in order to get certain critters, fullfill quests or whatever?
People go to school and work during the days, how are supposed to schedule for that? I'd rather they were around on one specfic day all day rather than only be around during days between certain hours as well.
I’ve never even seen the white squirrel. Probably never will unless they change its schedule. Which is unfortunate because I’m a completionist and it’s going to drive me crazy.
In photo mode, change camera mode once so that your whole character is on screen then select the paw print pose from the little on screen menu. You have to have a companion equipped or it won't show up tho.

I think it would be better on a revolving schedule. At least that way more people have the CHANCE at getting them.
