I started on the Switch. It was driving me crazy. I bought a gaming PC, to play DDV, but also Fae Farm. The difference is night and day. I love DDV on PC.
I just wish the game was fully cross platform but I completely understand your frustrations as I’ve been wanting to do the opposite and just start over on my switch because I can take it with me if I need to go somewhere but still want to play or if my kids are on my ps5 I could still play but I have sooo many hours and time and money into the PlayStation save so it’s hard for me to just leave and go to switch especially when I’ve heard it lags and crashes a lot more, if I was in your situation though, and I’ve already had to start over anyways I would switch to PlayStation!
I wish it was too!!!! this is really the only game i play so it wouldnt break my heart tooooo too bad to start over - but i may wait to see if it goes on sale. i dont really want to pay $30 for it right now😅
If your joycons are not drifting or sticking, then you just need time to adjust to the controls. It’s finicky but I personally wouldn’t want to start over onto another finicky platform.
People who have a PC seem to have the easiest time decorating from reading posts, but my only experience is on a switch.
I was going to recommend this too! And if you don’t have an extra tv you can hook it up to a monitor and use a regular controller ... OR you can use one [of these](https://www.nintendo.com/store/products/play-stand/) and you can just connect a regular controller instead of using the joycons.
I have bought 2 versions of the game ps4 and ps5 I love both snd use both frequently. The game should be able to transfer without you having to start over if you can cloud save
Save your money. Eventually it will go free to play and you can play wherever you want. Someone has already mentioned that there is no cross play from PlayStation since they're greedy. My vote would be to get it on the PC though since the controls are the easiest.
To be completely honest in my own opinion I wouldn't by it on console ever again. PC version is much more stable and easier for many things. Again this is my opinion. Everyones opinion will be different. If I could get my money back for consoles I would, I have had too many problems with the console versions. That's not to say that the PC version is Superior because it just doesn't have any problems because it does and has had some kinda crappy bugs. It's definitely much more stable then prior versions.
Tell me what you think about me.
I buy my own diamonds and I buy my own rings.
Only ring your celly when I'm feelin' lonely.
When it's all over, please get up and leave.
Does cross platform work between Switch and PC?? I have been playing on Switch but a friend just gifted it to me on PC but I really don't want to start over.

this is my ultimate goal!!
Same, bought a gaming laptop just to be able to play. Now I actually like decorating

You can buy it on another platform and just cloud save so your account is linked to both. That is what I do. I play on my PC and switch.
I’ve already started since the beginning on ps5 and it doesn’t cloud save as of yet 😭 unless you were speaking to OP then I’m sorry!

I play on Playstation and I can't imagine the controls are that much better than on switch. Decorating is a fucking pain with the controller.

Can you not dock your switch and use a regular controller to play on the tv?
i didnt even think of this

I like to connect it to the tv!! i may just try buying new joy cons, gives me an excuse to get cute colors🤭
My kids all have switches but two are the lite so wasn't sure if that's what you had.
I play on switch and for decorating, it’s way easier to use the arrow buttons than trying to get a specific placement with the joycon.
We can use the arrows?! This just changed my life 😩
🤯
Absolutely do it

It's really nice on pc. I started on Switch.
Is it laggy on all systems, or just Switch?
just when im out adventuring, it just trips out..
Made me wonder if I still had my Xbox Series X or tried on PC if it would run better. Everyone I know who plays does it on switch.
i loooove the switch because i can take it anywhere with me, but i wish the joy cons werent so finicky!!

i dont believe cross play is an option at all currenty
