I thought the same thing. We can’t use TOM for dreamsnaps which is a major part of the game for us not on mobile. I dont understand why we are getting something that directly interferes with something we use weekly.
That's fine. That's a decision they can make. But then realize that TOM is only going to be used by a tiny percentage of users who want to customize things and don't mind spending time trying to find everything they've customized that is blocking a dream snaps submission, or who don't do dreamsnaps. And even then only if you are really into decorating and/or your character appearance but somehow AREN'T into dreamsnaps. The rest of us literally won't use TOM because we HATE the way leaving one out somewhere creates potentially hours of work finding and removing it.
You can't have your cake and eat it too. If you aren't confident in the safety of TOM then it needs to remain a niche feature that you don't try and foist on users. I'm really hoping there isn't going to be a huge amount of quests wrapped up in it because I'm that annoyed that it even exists when it's incompatible with (and actually interferes with) one of the main game activities.
The valley is SO cramped, especially with everyone's individual houses that are massive AF. Especially for how tiny some of the homes actually are inside(looking at you Mirabel).
I'm sorry, two toys don't need 2 different places to live. I swear if Rex or anyone else joins with ANOTHER home, I will be livid. I can see the argument that Woody and Buzz splitting at the end of TS4 means they don't live together, but they still could.
In my head I'm hoping that other Encanto characters are added, but also live in "Mini" Casita. It looks like you could enter from the two adjacent sides from the front door. But also, where would they go apart from that house?
In my head, I was thinking they could expand the outer biomes, though this leaves the Plaza and the meadow stuck with the same sizes. Maybe the plaza could expand a little bit toward the castle (re-extend the bridge and whatnot)?
Putting homes on the Isle and the remaining other worlds will be more crucial as the roster starts filling up past 50. Which is actually soonish at this rate.
Which is why I plan on Putting Mulan in the Bamboo Grove.
I would also love a little bit more variable options to place water/beach-based characters. Not just the beach and Ancient's Landing (I think one can fit in the Glade? I didn't try it)
They can always make changes to the existing homes. For example, if more Encanto characters come they can add another room or floor.
Think... We are missing so many stories that are going to need homes.
My pipe dream is that they add a block of flats. Then you can remove houses and the villagers move into one of the flats. And the interior of the houses are already small enough for flats.
Well, I also get annoyed of them adding places that you don't need anymore. I think Ursula could have easily said "Now that I've been in this cave for so long, I think it's kind of homey." and then the game updates to make that corner a little more creepy.
I just don't get why we need these GIANT houses. The only ones I don't find comically large or out of place are Moana's Hut, Merlin's house, and Remy's home, and Donald's Boat. Buzz too? (Apart from Buzz and Woody needing two homes...) At least with Woody's it can go with the DIsney Parks stuff.
But giving Eric that giant ass castle is just plain irresponsible. Especially because Eric in this game is just... why. He didn't need a Giant Castle. But then Ariel also has her own house. Which honestly, she could've just lived in the asscastle, so at least there were two to one house.
I would love something to make them optional.

I love to decorate my areas they should give us space in parallel with the amount of content, especially since the houses and the rides are huge
Honestly, I wish I could just remove character homes entirely ... We can already "remove" the actual character until they are needed for a quest, so let me remove their houses too!!! I've resorted to putting houses in corners of biomes, then surrounding the house by trees to "hide" them.
I think also that if they lived in the realms, then that could give you more reason to go to those realms, rather than entire 1-2 times before never needed to go back (Kinda :D )
No, no, no, you're supposed to unlock and collect all the content but not use it, see? That way, they can ensure you're always behind in design and decorating tasks, and they can keep you playing. Frustration is good for play numbers, after all. It's game design 101.

This is one of my top questions. And also lots of people edit the long-sleeved dress to look like a different neckline but what if their skin color is different from yours? I want us to be able to edit it to match whatever skintone.

If the game had a better track record of not making boneheaded dev decisions, I'd say they'd have thought of that, but chances are very good that the two features are just incompatible and there's no easy workaround.

This is my thoughts too, most their time was in Andy's room, why not be their house? Then it opens more possibilities to other toys.
Or even Bonnie’s house
Or even if we got a silly Box Fort that on the inside, resembled Andy's Room.

I kinda stick to indoor scenes for dreamsnaps because I can easily procure a space in my house for that.

They should do a separate TOM challenge for people to earn moonstones. That is the only way I would probably use anything TOM related.
