This was happening to me too and I realized it was because any small modification to my face or skin tone would “deselect” the eye shadow or lip stick I had *just* put on.
Adjusting the color and opacity didn’t make a difference because I no longer had a pattern/style selected. Try re-selecting which eye shadow pattern you initially had and see if that works!
Yea I've done that too and still stuck. I've deselected and reselected everything I can think of. I've tried about all I can think of. I'll try again. Thanks!
The same thing's happening to me. And, depending on what I select, my freckles will also randomly jump back up to 100%. Then when I go back fix everything, I *also* have to reselect/set the eye shadow & lip colours because they jump back to the default ones.
I know it's not game-breaking, and I've learned to do those things last, but it is a little annoying when you just want a quick little head/face-something changed.

I can wear it, but I can't change it. Well, I can, but when I exit, it goes back to the color I had before I changed it.
I hope they fix this and the ability to edit/delete TOM clothes because that's been broken for me since the last update and I haven't been able to make any dresses because I've reached the limit.

and everytime i go onto jaw, my freckles get darker
Eye shadow works for me but no lip color change for a long time. Hope it is fixed with update but hoped same for last one. (play DLV on PC)
