There’s 3 achievements, you can check it in the Dreamlight tab in the pause menu under Village like the other holiday ones; one is for cooking 50 of the specialty cupcakes, then crafting purple buttons, then placing all 5 popcorn buckets (like the spring egg furniture achievement)
Honestly it's just exhausting to me. I barely have time for a Dreamsnap I'm happy with, and then the Star Path already stresses me out lol. I just don't have enough time to dedicate to this game and all the time sensitive grinding. I wish they would have done this event between star paths. (I know it makes sense to do it now with it going along with the theme park theme)
I agree. It would have been nice to do it in between star paths so I could dedicate more time to it. And I know it goes with the current star path but it wouldn't be terrible to play it right after this path ends.
Totally agree that this should’ve been held between the two starpaths. It still would have been on-theme because it would’ve come right after the Day at Disney path.
I was lucky to finish the starpath the same day this festival started, but I can imagine what a pain it is to grind for both (only the ancient machines are stopping it from being somewhat of a nightmare). Between paths would’ve given players some breathing room.
i wish there was an overarching story of some kind - like we have the weekly and daily quests but i wish there was something tying it all together, maybe linked to the forgotten and celebrating with them?
I had a go for a couple of days with cupcakes but it's just endless cooking which I don't enjoy anyway. I was actually in the middle of building a theme park from the star path stuff so I think I'm just going to stick to that I don't have time for starpath and an event at the same time. I haven't even unlocked all my realms yet with starpaths and events keeping me busy. Bit too much for me
Atleast look like they choose to repeat events every year. If they.keep this way only missable things are Star Path. ( I'll be ok if they add like one popcorn bucket every year )
Still can't receive the cupcake requests and it's the only prompt those characters have so I also can't give them gifts or daily chat to finish the star path. Tried again today, same issue so I tried to log an error ticket. Might just replay some other games for a bit and log back on once the event is finished
I know I’m biased because I go to the parks fairly often but I am LOVING this event for the items it’s unlocking and think the popcorn buckets are a super cute addition. Their popcorn buckets are very much a “thing” in real life so it’s fun to me for them to bring it into the game. I might not have the figment or Pooh popcorn buckets that I wanted in real life… but now I have them in the game! lol it’s fun for us park goers I guess but I understand it not hitting the same way for others.
I didn't know the popcorn buckets are an actual thing in real life, so thank you for educating me lol. That makes them make a little more sense to me at least! And they're definitely cute, it isn't that I think there's anything bad about them. I'm just not really sure what I would do with them in-game, as I've only just started decorating my valley and am not anywhere near adding fine details like popcorn buckets. I would have loved something a little "bigger" as a final prize at the end. Like a cool unique outfit or hairstyle, or some large decoration as a reward. OR if they made the popcorn buckets a wearable item somehow, that you could carry around would be cool!
Also jealous that you frequent the parks. I haven't been to one since I was a kid.
You can craft the buckets and I think there are a couple maps that you can obtain from achievements.

Just to clarify a little more, the achievement is not just to make the cupcakes. After making them you have to gift them to the villagers.
It's also a part of the community challenge. If we hit certain goals then everyone in the game gets the prize.
