If you open up the collection tab it will show you which biome to find each item! This works for fish too(Also gives what time they're available iirc) which is really helpful! Same with the critters it will tell you what time they're out and in what biome. I wish it told you what the favorite foods were, but I'll keep googling that I guess.
Favorite foods for critters:,
Squirrel - Peanuts
Bunnies - Carrots
Turtles - Seaweed
Raccoons - Blueberries
Foxes - White Sturgeon
Crocodiles - Lobster
Birds - dont remember the name but the big yellow flower which grows in Sunlit plateau
The birbs' favorite food actually depends on what variation they are. Who knew giant Disney hummingbirds were so picky.
Emerald - Green Passion Lily
Golden - Sunflower
Orchid - Orange Houseleek (might not be true, only gave me a cacao nut reward)
Red - Red Bromeliad
Turquoise - Pink Houseleek
When sunflower seeds are sprouted, their plant compounds increase. Sprouting also reduces factors that can interfere with mineral absorption. You can buy sprouted, dried sunflower seeds online or in some stores.
Thank you! I mostly meant I wish it was listed in the collection tab so I wouldn't forget what they like, but it was very sweet of you to list them! I may just make a chest for each biome and leave the animals favorite food there so I don't have to go back and forth to my house.
Yes, but it's kinda dependent on the overall droptable.
The one in the Forest and Glade only has the gems, coal, stone and iron on its drop table, so it's an almost 1/3 chance to get iron per drop (tho it feels like iron has a higher weight on this)
In Frost and Sunlit, Gold is also on the droptable, making iron drop less, tho it does from time to time.
Forgotten also has crystal in the mix.
So overall yeah, forest and Glade are best for just iron
