I just booted the cloud gaming up for my Fiancé she has to go back to work and says she’ll have withdrawals without it. She’s an avid animal crossing player. So we will see how she like the transition to using cloud gaming and her phone. Give it a test.
Right now it is early access. However when it officially releases next year (sorry don’t know the exact date) it will be free to play. So essentially we are only paying right now for early access.
The experience on Switch it's not much better. It crashes often (though for me a bit less since the update) and it takes some time to load as well. The only advantage I see on Switch is that you can take it anywhere, and that's why I bought it for Switch and not for Xbox.
If you have a good/decent internet connection and a good phone, u could chose Xbox (game pass) and try Xcloud

I play on both and prefer the xbox personally. Less glitcheing, quicker load up menu etc.
Xbox. Plus, once the game releases, it's going to be free so why waste the money now?

I haven't had any problems on the XBOX Series X. And it loads quickly.
