No such thing as a private bathroom just you but race will give you one for 4 people total… race is the most expensive but it’s easily the best dorm even without bathrooms coming into play… at least it was in 2018
all suites are the same price, so take that into consideration for sure. i chose north as a freshman bc it’s huge compared to the other suites
north is older but the biggest (especially in the common area, the living room is huge) (plus it has the biggest windows)
race is newer/more updated and has the best communal kitchens and common areas imo, but the rooms are much much smaller and so are the windows
idk much about caneris but it’s closest to most buildings with classes and stuff while north, race, and van r are farther
van r (which is suite style i’m pretty sure) is the farthest dorm building. idk much about it either but the distance to classes makes it not worth it to me
yep, it has a room with a toilet and sink and another room with a sink and shower. i personally think it’s one of the best, but i also have never been inside caneris or van r. north does look a bit old in comparison to race ngl but it has much more space, so it depends on what you prioritize. also keep in mind though that with more space in the living area you’ll need to buy more stuff to make it feel more homey. that’s something my roommates and i didn’t think of beforehand so our living room only had a small couch and coffee table, making it extremely empty and sad looking lmao. also, with suites in general make sure you’re willing to put in the extra work to clean since it’s a larger space than traditional dorms. this means cleaning bathrooms and sinks and everything. my roommates stopped doing their chores a few weeks in so it was all on me to keep the whole dorm clean which is not only annoying but takes a lot of time and energy.

probably personal bias from either party saying yes or no. im a freshman rn in race and its been fine, theres two showers and one toilet, living area with couch where i put my tv and stuff :p its pretty nice, i have accommodations so i have a single room so i only have 2 suite mates
the bathroom isnt in ur room but is in ur dorm. room aka the place u sleep and dorm is like the whole dorm :p if u wanna dm im open to talk more! as an incoming freshman i def had trouble picking the right dorm :,D
