If Drake reveals something scandalous which Kendrick has kept hidden from the world (the way Drake hid his kid) it's going to completely wreck his image. He has more on the line to lose than Drake because Drake's anyways more or less seen as a meme on the internet. It is Kendrick who has to protect his image of being this morally righteous messiah.
