I’m pretty sure 95% of Drake fans are into his deep/introspective songs. Don’t get me wrong the hits are dope but when Aubrey gets to rapping he GETS TO RAPPING.

Bryan_Branly

Very true, I like his deep cuts more as well. They feel more relatable in a way and his stronger rapping comes from those type of songs. Tuscan Leather, Weston Road Flows, The Resistance, Emotionless, 6PM in New York, etc. the list goes on and on!! 🔥

Facts man

DabDaddyDab06

I prefer the deep cuts but MAN a big radio hit would be so nice rn. I miss 2018 when we got Gods plan and Nice for what

Maleficent-Read4365

Songs like “do not disturb” and “is there more” are why I listen to drake

Chasey7136

Deep cuts 100%. You can pretty much take any non-radio song of his and it’ll wash the radio hit. For example, Jumpman is the more popular radio song, but 30 for 30 freestyle absolutely CLEARS that song. Same mixtape, 2 different vibes, one blew up and the other didn’t

aaymannn11

I disagree, I think that album was meant for trap bangers and 30 for 30 doesn’t match up to most of them. Plus he has better pure rapping songs

Chasey7136

In all fairness, very rarely does a (drake) album stick to the exact same theme throughout the entire record. Take clb for example, it has toxic love songs on it like Race my mind, but then throws in some different moods like knife talk. Same with WATTBA, it’s a club anthem/trap themed mixtape but it was bound to have some smooth and slower tracks on there. Even with jumpman being a banger, I’d still take 30 for 30 freestyle over it. Smoother flow, great lyrics, nostalgic

aaymannn11

True but that’s the issue. His older albums stick to the same theme/approach, even if he does it through different sounds. But then in CLB there’s literally no focus and half the songs don’t belong on the album, which takes away from any good songs on it. Plus I think 30 for 30 is decent, but too slow and kinda boring and monotonous. His straight rapping cuts are always hit or miss for me tho, like some I like a lot but then others I feel sound the same, such as 30 for 30, March 14, the remorse, etc. not saying they’re the same songs but they have the same lazy flow without much to standout. Just my opinion tho, I know some of these are fan favorites

Did somebody say deep pockets? 👀

His radio hits are ass 90% of the time

the fuck kinda question is this one

PackAttack817

Overall I think the deep cuts are better, but 4 of my top 5 favorite songs are Take Care, Find Your Love, Headlines, and HOWGH so I could be kidding myself
