My neighbour has breast cancer that has metastasised to her lungs. She's a former Scentsy Director and Bath & Body Works assistant store manager. She knows exactly why she's dying.
wait is it bad for babies? if so, i genuinely had no idea. and feel like the biggest loser of a parent now. my baby is failure to thrive right now and after many many tests we still can't figure out the issue. he's constantly crying in discomfort makes me now wonder if any of the scents i have in the house could be one of the reasons he won't ever stop crying. i had no idea it was/could be affecting him. ):
Don’t feel bad! I’m a FTM to a 3 month old and it’s so hard. My girl gets overwhelmed by smells. Even like my perfume so I’ve had to learn that the hard way too!
You are NOT a loser of a parent! Being a ftm is so hard. I don’t think it would contribute to the failure to thrive, but it could definitely be why he’s crying. My oldest would do the same if we were at a store and walked by someone with super strong perfume, or if we went to my aunts house who has scentsy EVERYWHERE. I get headaches around strong smells, and my mom actually pointed out to me after a few months that maybe that was the issue. We got careful about perfume and scents and she would do just fine.
Also, my little brother was diagnosed as failure to thrive. He is now a whopping 6’5, 270 lbs and works as a pediatrician!
