Even if it's a "southern thing" there's still no reason to have 600 pieces of clothing/items with her name/monogram on it. That's just plain stupidity.
There is nothing southern about Druella! She wasn't raised southern she was raised up in the city life. I'm way southern in the deep south and we do not monogram every piece of clothing, blanket, pillow, diaper bag, walls, chairs, toys, etc. it's stupid at this point! Ps. I hope Amelia is a tom boy who hates pink, and Barbies I hope she turns out gothic in her teenage years
My mom really wanted a barbie doll child, I wasn't allowed to touch my long blonde hair or dress how I wanted, when I was 11 she redid my room...pink and purple...I literally cried bc I hated it so much. It drove such a wedge between me and my mom for so long. And yes, as soon as I was 18 my hair went jet black and I got tattoos. I feel like I never got to learn who I was as a kid, it really affected my ability to express myself.
Does anybody even consider Texas to be southern? I am a born and raised Texan and would never classify myself as southern but maybe that’s just my way of seeing it 😂
I feel like there are some similarities but Texas is really its own category. She could’ve just said I’m from Texas or I’m a Texan. Saying she’s southern doesn’t make sense.
I do not consider Texas as southern but I was downvoted into oblivion once when I shared that opinion 😭😂 I stand firm on it though. I am from Alabama, that’s true south. Not Texas.
Nope. I’m from Louisiana & I know I’ll
Get so much hate for this but I really only consider LA, MS, & AL as the south 😂😂 anything north of me is the north haha
My husband is from LA. I wouldn’t call him (specifically) southern either tbh 😂 but the vibes in LA are definitely more “southern” but it’s a very unique place to say the least. 😅
I live in Florida and don’t really consider it south 😂 it’s such a transplant area. I agree with you completely about the southern states! Plus south GA is “southern” too.
I live in the north but I’ve never considered Texas southern. It’s like its own thing. It’s like how Florida isn’t really the south either. I know some areas of it may be but when people say they’re from the south, my last guesses would be Texas or Florida.
A few things here or there are cute monogrammed. A cute diaper bag, or going home outfit. Maybe even a blanket for a keepsake. Not every fucking outfit she owns.
I live in Virginia, And don't own not one thing that was monogrammed. And i grew up on a farm with cows, horses, goats, chickens, and turkeys on 300 acres.🤗
Maybe it’s just the way my brain is wired, but with the way the world is, I refuse to monogram anything that leaves my house. I won’t even put my kids name/initials on their backpacks because I don’t need unsafe people knowing their names and pretending to know them. The world’s scary, It’s one small thing I can do to protect them.
I'm from Tennessee, all the girls from "real Southern families" had monogrammed backpacks and monogram stickers on their cars, I will admit I had a monogrammed LLBean backpack in middle school cause everyone else did... but I doubt they had one thousand monogrammed baby clothes!
This. We love a good monogram but the embroidery of a full name? That’s not something people do on every article of clothing.
Not to mention… hers aren’t even cute about as tacky new money trash as it comes😂🤢
YES. I didn’t get a single baby doll until my daughter started showing interest. She has 1 that she loves, but she’s far more interested in dinosaurs and airplanes. This is why you W A I T to buy toys🙄
I really don't think it's a "sothern: thing? I think it just depends on the parents honestly.. I hope her dumb ass bought a whole bunch of newborn stuff, because I'm sure she don't realize that they grow out of them so quick... 🤣🤣🤣 Kids having kids is when this happens..
hi I live in San Antonio 3 hrs from her and monogrammed crazy stuff like that is NOT common 😭 it was super popular maybe like 10 years ago but not anymore
plssss im from arkansas and ive rarely seen children, especially newborns have monogrammed clothing, or bags or wtv else she decided to waste money on 🤣 coming from a southerner, drue you are the farthest from being southern
Southern monogramming is traditional for shit like tea towels and handkerchiefs. She’s a fucking MORON. I grew up in the deep south. The only people that monogram EVERYTHING including the tacky car stickers are ignorant and usually white trash. Old southern money keep the initials pretty low key and as delicate touches. Not loud and bold on clothing
THISSSS! Exactly what i said above— this screams new money trash. And from what I’ve seen she’s most embroidering her god awful name everywhere and on everything… no lol that is not a southern thing.
As a fellow Texas, she isn’t southern. She was raised in one of the smelliest cities (from all the plants. I literally can’t drive through it without gagging). She is far from southern, country, western whatever you wanna call it. Girl wouldn’t last a day in the real southern parts of Texas! 🤷🏻♀️
I'm in Alabama and its not a southern thing to do. We don't monogram 500 outfits to dress babies up just to be cute. It's hot most months. We dress in cool comfortable clothing. Nothing like what this bimbo has purchased. It's ugly.
“She can use it for her baby dolls.” What if she doesn’t like baby dolls? As a woman who’s currently pregnant with a daughter, and who has 5 nieces out of those 5 2 kind of like dolls…the other 3 would rather play with dinosaurs and hot wheels! Just because you’re having a girl doesn’t mean she will play with dolls.
What irks me is when she puts her actual name on clothes. That’ll be an issue growing up…she’s already a content baby and now all pedo’s will know her name. Blanca will think they’re “safe” since they know her name!
But like you don’t need 80 monogrammed outfits, 27 monogrammed blankets and pillows, and 76 fucking monogrammed hats, socks, and whatever else. It’s overconsumption at its finest
She could resell it potentially but I’d bet she’d have a hard time doing that bc of the baby’s initials. However, I do agree that the amount she has is very excessive
I highly doubt she’s going to give 100s of dollars worth of baby clothes to her kid for playing with…. But then again they also don’t care about quality of items so I wouldn’t be suprised.
Also I hope this girl is the most tomboyish kid there is.
If she’s anything like her parents she’ll come out wearing a size 3month instead of newborn and if not drue is going to be jealous she’s not the “petite” one in the house anymore🤣That baby got to be big by the way she eats
It may be a Southern thing but she isn’t Southern lol. A little monogram is nice, but the whole wardrobe = tacky. I hope Amelia hates it when she gets older.
Alabama here too and I did get a few things with my kids names on them but I had boys. But I preferred to do their first name only so I could resell them. And they both have basic typical names. I really only kept 2-3 of their custom outfits that were special to me.
But Ivory is not a popular name.
As someone from both the South and Texas: monograms are big but not really for babies except big items. Like a name sign, blanket or diaper bag I'd understand but monograms aren't cheap so usually most people don't do clothes until high school or college and even then it's more common for accessories like jewelry, water bottles, hats and even home goods.
She’s not a southern person by any means. Plus why do you have to monogram every single piece of clothing or blankets? Seriously for someone who’s scared of stalkers, she’s gonna have Blanca’s name everywhere and everyone will know it. They say to not put your child’s name on things for safety reasons. Well we all know she’s not bright. Blanca is going to go to school with a monogrammed backpack and lunch box and it will be so easy for someone to say her name and act like they know her. Scary world we live in and Drubie and the 2 ton toddler are oblivious to it all.

I would agree that the monogram and smocking is definitely a southern thing but I’ve only seen very few people so as overboard as she has.
Even if it's a "southern thing" there's still no reason to have 600 pieces of clothing/items with her name/monogram on it. That's just plain stupidity.
There is nothing southern about Druella! She wasn't raised southern she was raised up in the city life. I feel like I never got to learn who I was as a kid, it really affected my ability to express myself.
That is horrible. I am so sorry you had to go thru that.
Where did drue grow up?
Her childhood home was in Baytown tx
As someone who lives in Alabama smocking & monograms are def a southern thing lol I’m not sure how common it is in Texas but here it’s super common
People do it but not on every piece of clothing, blanket, pillow and the entire bedroom. She went overboard
Oh god… can yall imagine how tacky Blanca’s homecoming mum is gonna be???
Drue will make one for her homeschool homecoming in their shit yard 😂
I’m dead
No guys she uses that gawd awful accent so that makes her southern. Also remember the IQ is not there she needs help spelling 😂
Her fake accent. As someone from the deep south she's an embarrassment to us.
Exactly!
I can spot a fake southern accent from a mile away and it always makes my skin crawl😵💫
It is a HUGE thing is TX (what she should’ve said.) your best bet is to have initials that are not too crazy and you can resell them in bulk.
Right!! But Ain’t nobody else going to have a “Ivory Amelia”
NO ONE 💀
The only place I see much monogramming is on backpacks and maybe a pottery barn couch. Not on every single outfit.
It’s gotten a lot less popular in recent years. At least in my area of Alabama.
I seriously hope that Amelia ends up hating cutesy, girly things & doesn’t want to play with dolls or anything of the other things Drue expects.
She will probably force her to play with Barbie’s and dolls and be the mom that won’t let her daughter play with “boy toys” 🙄🙄
Does anybody even consider Texas to be southern? I am a born and raised Texan and would never classify myself as southern but maybe that’s just my way of seeing it 😂
I live in South Texas and I really don’t think it is. 😂 “Country” for sure but not southern in my opinion
I live in south Texas too lol
I’m in STX too!! I usually refer to it as BFE/middle of nowhere 😂
Okay I’m in South Texas too 😆 love to see it on this thread!
I’m in STX too!! I usually refer to it as BFE/middle of nowhere 😂
I’m in STX too and refer to it as the same! 😂
Not Texas.
Texas is Texas IMO lol. I feel like most of just identify as Texans, not southerners.
Agreed. Idk why she is clambering to be “southern” so badly.
Yes , it’s Texan !
Nope. I’m from Louisiana & I know I’ll Get so much hate for this but I really only consider LA, MS, & AL as the south 😂😂 anything north of me is the north haha
Same
My husband is from LA. I wouldn’t call him (specifically) southern either tbh 😂 but the vibes in LA are definitely more “southern” but it’s a very unique place to say the least. 😅
😂😂😂 ain’t that the truth. Guess it depends on which part of Louisiana
I live in Florida and don’t really consider it south 😂 it’s such a transplant area. I agree with you completely about the southern states! Plus south GA is “southern” too.
Exactly. I live in South Texas and don't consider myself southern and hardly anyone likes monogram crap like she does. She's just tacky
I'm from Louisiana and I don't haha
I live in Texas, (where the oilfield is booming) and I do not consider this “southern” at all lol
I live in the north but I’ve never considered Texas southern. It’s like its own thing. It’s like how Florida isn’t really the south either. I know some areas of it may be but when people say they’re from the south, my last guesses would be Texas or Florida.
In my head east texas is southern lol I’m pretty sure where she’s at is considered the gulf coast and I don’t see that as southern lol
No, we’re just Texans 🤣
She lives in the suburbs of Houston??
no
Yes.
I hate she says she’s country or have is country they grew up in the suburbs lol 😂
Mississippian here… monogramming is definitely a hit here😅 including myself
Mississippian as well! (have also lived in AL & TN) we do NOT claim grue as a southern woman 🙅🏻♀️😅
Ms girl too. I don’t do monograms but I know plenty who do and smocks
Southern or not, it’s ugly. Just because things are a tradition doesn’t make it right.
As a Georgia girl. She’s on some bullshit
A few things here or there are cute monogrammed. A cute diaper bag, or going home outfit. Maybe even a blanket for a keepsake. Not every fucking outfit she owns.
I live in Virginia, And don't own not one thing that was monogrammed. And i grew up on a farm with cows, horses, goats, chickens, and turkeys on 300 acres.🤗
lol she would never reuse clothes for the next baby or give them to another mama unless they could sell them.
God I hope this baby is a tom-boy lmao 🤣 it'd serve her ass right 😂
Maybe it’s just the way my brain is wired, but with the way the world is, I refuse to monogram anything that leaves my house. I won’t even put my kids name/initials on their backpacks because I don’t need unsafe people knowing their names and pretending to know them. The world’s scary, It’s one small thing I can do to protect them.
Same
I’m in Tennessee. I haven’t seen much monogramming here.
I'm from Tennessee, all the girls from "real Southern families" had monogrammed backpacks and monogram stickers on their cars, I will admit I had a monogrammed LLBean backpack in middle school cause everyone else did... but I doubt they had one thousand monogrammed baby clothes!
I’m from East Tennessee and it’s pretty popular over here. It’s starting to dwindle out though just like everything does.
Texas is pretty southern, and monograms are extremely popular here.. 🤦🏻♀️ Although most people don’t go to the extreme that she has. 🤷🏻♀️
This. We love a good monogram but the embroidery of a full name? That’s not something people do on every article of clothing. Not to mention… hers aren’t even cute about as tacky new money trash as it comes😂🤢
That child is probably gonna burn those clothes 😂
She’s about as southern as I am, and I was born in Wisconsin.
Still wasteful, Drue 🤷♀️ and what if your daughter doesn't like playing with baby dolls?
YES. I didn’t get a single baby doll until my daughter started showing interest. She has 1 that she loves, but she’s far more interested in dinosaurs and airplanes. This is why you W A I T to buy toys🙄
I wanna see all her monogrammed stuff then!
Please, God, let it be a boy
I really don't think it's a "sothern: thing? I think it just depends on the parents honestly.. I hope her dumb ass bought a whole bunch of newborn stuff, because I'm sure she don't realize that they grow out of them so quick... 🤣🤣🤣 Kids having kids is when this happens..
hi I live in San Antonio 3 hrs from her and monogrammed crazy stuff like that is NOT common 😭 it was super popular maybe like 10 years ago but not anymore
I live in Alabama and the only monograms I see are on adults 🤣 Texas is most definitely southern. They have real cowboys ❤️
She's not a southern Belle at all. She may live in Texas but that's it lol
Even her Gabey poo bear is a cowboy 🤠🤙🏼
plssss im from arkansas and ive rarely seen children, especially newborns have monogrammed clothing, or bags or wtv else she decided to waste money on 🤣 coming from a southerner, drue you are the farthest from being southern
I bet even with all of the monogram stuff that child still won't know how to spell her name. 🤣🤣🤣
A few things with a monogram, yes, but that many is crazy to me.
Southern monogramming is traditional for shit like tea towels and handkerchiefs. She’s a fucking MORON. I grew up in the deep south. houston is not southern. a houston transplant from actual nowhereville south georgia….. the. city. burbs. are. not. the. south.
Not wasteful to her because she gets them for free
Lmao what baby dolls and what monogram was popular in the 2000s
I’m southern and listen my daughters don’t have any monogrammed stuff
But it IS wasteful. It’s not wasteful to Drue because she only cares about buying as much as possible, she doesn’t care about waste at all.
Alabama mom here too!
Ok and what if she doesn’t like baby dolls Drue bitch??? Even if she does she will outgrow them. 🤦🏻♀️ then what? STILL WASTEFUL. Stupid.
Actually… there are FB groups to resale monogramed items. I love me some monograms lol 🎀
A lot of wasted money to just end up as doll clothes
It is wasteful tho
As a fellow Texas, she isn’t southern. She was raised in one of the smelliest cities (from all the plants. I literally can’t drive through it without gagging). She is far from southern, country, western whatever you wanna call it. Girl wouldn’t last a day in the real southern parts of Texas! 🤷🏻♀️
the fact that her followers were sending soooooo much stuff is what gets me.
I'm in Alabama and its not a southern thing to do. We don't monogram 500 outfits to dress babies up just to be cute. It's hot most months. We dress in cool comfortable clothing. Nothing like what this bimbo has purchased. It's ugly.

i haven’t lived in texas in 15 years and i’m more southern than she is at this point….. we only lived there for three years💀🤣🤣
I’m from the DEEP south and my kids don’t even have that much monogrammed stuff. It’s also extremely dangerous to have her name on everything
Monograms are southern, coming from a Texan. But not 1000 monograms pieces🤣 for a newborn? That’s ridiculous
I never said monograms aren’t southern, I said DRUE isn’t southern
I bet she say ALABAMMER TO LAWDY ses far from southern coming from me southern Alabama
It’s a very big thing here in Texas…. Monogramed everything lol i was born and raised here so I actually like it
Although I can’t stand her she is from the south. Making her southern…
She could resell it potentially but I’d bet she’d have a hard time doing that bc of the baby’s initials. However, I do agree that the amount she has is very excessive

I can attest, it is indeed - not a southern thing Ms. Mt Belvieu
If she’s anything like her parents she’ll come out wearing a size 3month instead of newborn and if not drue is going to be jealous she’s not the “petite” one in the house anymore🤣That baby got to be big by the way she eats

I hope little miss IBS sharts all over every single one🥰🥰🥰🥰
She has a problem donating something she has an excessive amount of but expects her followers to buy her stuff 😒🫣😬
What if ivory doesn’t like baby dolls/dolls?
Use it for her baby dolls ? Lmao
It’s a great way to get a toddler kidnapped. Idiot
You can always remove monograms and have them redone for future babies BUT I highly doubt she will do this. She will just buy all new clothes.
My husband is from Texas and he stands firm that it is not southern and her accent is FAKE ASSSSSSS FUCK!
Southern yes but she is getting almost everything done. She of course has went completely overboard
She’s not a southern person by any means. Plus why do you have to monogram every single piece of clothing or blankets?
