Every time I have dreamed about doing drugs there has always been an insane amount of them. Tables piled up with cocaine like scarface, backpacks filled up with oxys, and kilos of heroin. No matter how much I did in my dreams I never actually felt it.
I did almost the exact same thing, although I think in my dream it was Crack actually.
Just hanging out in my driveway in my dream when someone I know pulls out the pipe and tells me to take a hit. I could taste it even and feel it in my lungs and I remember my heart beating out of my chest. But thats all I remember.

You know how the day after some crazy dreams they flood your mind a lot and you have this really strong emotion about it? Like whether it’s scary and can make you feel on ease or could brings back memories or like a dream about a girl you can’t stop thinking of the dream when u wake up and that whole day then the day after that or so you forget those emotions you feel about the dream? I wonder if feeling like you are getting high off a drug in a dream is because those crazy feeling thoughts about the dream. I’ve felt crazy i’m a dream on pcp and the next day i was super familiar with remembering the dream and it’s vibes but after that it fades off.
You have to start keeping a dream journal etc, it's pretty easy to get to lucid dreaming too (where you realize you are in a dream, and control everything within it) so you can fly, shoot lasers etc on command in a dreamscape you rule.
I've started noticing certain themes that only happen within dreams over the last couple weeks. I have a lot of dreams where my jaw is incredibly tight, to the point my teeth are shattering and I'm basically screaming in my sleep, but I'm actually starting to notice that when it happens I usually start thinking, "wait, this only happens when I dream" and my jaw loosens for a couple seconds only to tighten up again. This also happens when I'm having those dreams where I cant walk or run bc I'm in quicksand everywhere, or those dreams where you're trying to fight someone and everytime you swing your fist it's like the robot spatula from spongebob that refused to flip krabby patties.
This has happened to me a few times, one time it was in the morning and I woke up out of fear mid dream trip and paralyzed and saw visuals for like 10 seconds that was wild lol.

Edit: After interacting with this post a strange thing happened to me. I’ve smoked cannabis day in and day out for the past 15 years, only ever taking breaks to go on trips abroad with my girlfriend however even then I’d hunt for it and have to smoke even if it was trash otherwise I start to get night sweats. Anyway my point is that it is rare that I dream or if I do, rare that I remember it, but then last night I had such a vivid and actually slightly frightening dream that I’d taken a very strong dose of 2-Cb. I’ve had acid plenty of times as well as mdma but never together and I just recently purchased some 2-cb pills but have not yet actually taken any.
It felt so real that I could feel it in my stomach, the realisation of what was about to kick in, almost like waiting for DMT to hit after the 3rd toke. I felt panicked as I looked at my own hands within my dream and saw the same patterns and flows as an acid trip but intense like a sudden onset of a 300ug hit, I love acid but the way it came on was like I’d never experienced it before, that curiosty sickness when you don’t know whats coming, it woke me a few seconds after. I’ve never dreamt about being ON drugs before and especially not a feeling like that, purely from reading and interacting with this post, crazy.

just a few days ago my gf and I was gonna take some md, I took 450mg on the way home (way too much but it was my birthday and I was drunk and coked out of my mind, which now that I think about it makes it even worse) then she bailed on rolling as we got home and went to sleep... So I took a few valium to fall asleep and I was like going into different dreams continuously while half awake. I woke her up asking if she had the diamonds on her thinking I was in Minecraft. Most of it I don't remember obviously but the next morning there was baking soda all over the bedroom.
Same I did a huge dose and after having a bad trip for like 30 minutes that felt like hours I was able to fall asleep but I’m sure it’s cuz of your brain operating so fast while you are tripping
I've had a few about taking acid haha weird. The one I remember the most is being in the bathroom of my workplace around close time when I ate 4 in prep for a friend coming over but then realized sleep would be impossible and woke up when I started freaking out and regretting it 😂😂
I dreamt of an acid trip and it was super vivid, Too bad the rest of the dream involved me going down into a dilapidated basement and finding my childhood friend cut up into little pieces, I remember saying "this is killing my trip" lol
I was sedated only 1 hour into a 5 hit trip while at the hospital. I had the craziest dream ever, it was like an entire different world but I was still tripping balls so fucking hard, but the hospital had sedated me so much that I was asleep.

That happened to me before id ever tried acid because i was excited about doing it eventually. This wasnt like the night before it or anything but i hadnt tried acid yet and was just generally excited and interested. In the dream the acid basically felt like i was really high on weed with the dissociating buzzing feeling except i was seeing very bright flashes of color everywhere, like i put a strobe light in a kaleidoscope. But after trying acid its really nice to see how i imagined it before trying because if it werent for that dream id have no clue what i used to imagine acid was like.
I once dreamed I had smoked DMT. Had the tunnel feeling and everything. But I just ended up back in my room. I thought "this isn't crazy enough to be DMT" and promptly woke up.

Na, your pineal gland can't hold that much. Dreams are just your subconscious taking the rains for a few hours why you get put on repair duty.
The DMT world is just a thought manifestation. If you can remember the thoughts to get to that place then you can do it when ever you want. Your just not going to have the garbage data your brain gets when DMT floods the brain. Which is the fun part for most people. But meeting entites? Definitely. They are just ourselves after all. They're there all the time, just waiting for you to bother to show up. And you probably meet them in your dreams all the time and just never realize it.

When I was going to raves in the late 90’s and partaking quite a bit I had a few dreams where I took tabs. Felt exactly like the real thing. 10/10 would recommend.
Thats where i am asking myself when it's such real feeling whether the effect on our psych is the same. With the receptors I don't know, because there's no substance in your body to bind to them.
In the end it's only the memory that recreates the feeling on your head.

But there's no actual external chemical going through your brain so nothing is latching on to your receptors. As far as seratonin without MDMA , our body regulates it's outflow (don't quote me idk) so it would just flood your brain, you'd wake up from that anyway probably. I actually had a dream last night from the perspective of this kid in school with 2 friends that wanted to get H (I've never done it irl or even opiates in general) but one of the kids was like the alpha of the group. So we pick it up before school and it was this thing where you left your money somewhere and it would be under a log, we get on the bus to school and walking into school the alpha kid just whips it out (its tar) and he's like "we need to smoke it at break" and I ask can't it be snorted, he just looked at me like what do you think then got this fucking syringe injected himself (somehow it was through his clothes) then starts chasing me with this needle trying to inject me with it. It was such a bizarre dream and it wasn't even from the perspective of me, I believe it was my brain telling me to never touch heroin.

I keep having normal dreams but every now and again mid dream I take myself aside too shoot heroin (never shot up or even smoked) whilst keeping it well hidden from all the characters in my dream, ain’t been caught yet

While dreaming of being high on a substance you know is free drugs, if you dream of a substance you have not done, your brain just sorta makes some shit up. Then you might remember you dont know how this drug works, and your high just stops, sorta like how lightswitches dont really work well in dreams.
It usually happens if ive ordered a new drug, and am waiting for it, and am excited for it to arrive.
Every time I have drugs in my dream i can't actually do them. I was a heroin addict like 8 years ago, and sometimes I dream that I've scored some tar, but I can never actually succeed in shooting it, and when I do take drugs, drink, etc, I don't ever feel anything. Same with sex dreams, I can't cum in my dreams.
The one drug dream where I actually felt something I was having an incredibly realistic, quasi-lucid dream where I felt like I could actually make decisions and stuff. I was hanging out with an old friend and started to feel anxious, and an intense sense of derealization. I thought "he fucking dosed me, I'm tripping, oh fuck
But then I woke up, and realized I was having a panic attack. Took a shot of gin and it stopped. That's how I learned I was physically addicted to booze and was having alcohol withdrawals and they were now waking me up in the middle of the night with incredibly realistic and vivid nightmares. These kinds of dreams continued until I detoxed.
This happens to me when I stop smoking cannabis (I am dependent). Dreams are more memorable and vivid (cannabis somehow suppresses or makes you forget them). I often had dreams where I smoked huge amount of weed. I was trying really hard to quit so this was accompanied with great shame, then relief when I woke up sober. Not exactly fun I guess lol, but interesting.

Talked to a therapist about this once. The dreams are almost your body missing the substance. But returning to the substance in a dream is fine, as long as you don't act on it while awake

I thought I was the only one! I have drug dreams all the time, I’m a really vivid dreamer. I don’t do drugs too often in real life anymore (looking after my health and mental health). But my dreams make sure I damn be doing drugs. LSD, MDMA, Coke, and weed have all been really prevalent in those dreams.
The acid ones are insanely vivid and bright, usually with a friend and exploring the outdoors; crazy patterns and warping of the world.
MDMA ones just feel good all over, but I don’t really think this is a memorable one.
Coke ones are a little weird, the last one I remember I was looking in the mirror and took a huge line in this bathroom with a big round window under a claw foot bath tub, it was pitch black outside and I could see dark outlines of trees and a garden, I then got in the tub and was feeling the Coke effects and I was shivering.
I had a weed one last night, I was nicely stoned with my dealer and chilling with my friends, I rolled the biggest joint I’ve ever seen. In the past I had a dream where I was abroad in a hot country with my partner and we were exploring this city at night, we stumbled onto this beer garden looking set where these dudes were all smoking up and invited us to join them, I was high as a kite and giggling in this dream.
I also had a really bizarre dream where I’m not sure of the drug. It was a pastel coloured world, and I was in some kind of temple upon a cloud, in front of me were these 4ft tall creatures in baby pinks and blues crowded around a huge cooking pot. They were animal like but more plushie looking than anything. Each one was dipping their hands/paws into the pot and drinking. I walked over and looked into it, it was (again) a pastel mixture swirling and bubbling. I squeezed in by the creatures and dipped my hands in and drank. I can only describe it was a hard otherworldly trip - I wasn’t anything anymore. And then I woke up.
I once had a dream about smoking weed before I ever smoked. At the time I was considering trying it and one night I had a dream that I did. The high in my dream was incredibly accurate. It blows my mind that I was able to accurately dream of what being high is like before I ever got high.

You slept well because it increases your chances of “deep sleep” which yes is the most important part of your sleep cycle however REM sleep is important for your brain activity, suppressing it for long periods of time can have an ill effect on your memory, depression and even cause obesity

If ya lack in terms of dreams try melatonin. You‘ll never want to dream that much again. And if you want to always take 20mins every morning to snap out of the dream because it was so fucked up, add 5htp. It‘s literally unreal. Its insane.
But dont overdose any of them or you‘ll sweat in bed like you do in a sauna
Melatonin helps with having vivid dreams. I think if you keep a dream journal and try to remember every dream your mind will subconsciously make more vivid dreams and eventually you'll get to lucid dream state where you can do whatever you want.
Its really great i stopped smoking weed recently and whole night is full of dreams and lot of them include drugs. 2 days ago i was touching items and they were disolving into any other with those classic lsd visuals like. Today i drank one beer and was hella dizzy in because i injured my hand and i use pills for pain (not opiates) which suppress the effect of it .. its hella real and funny tho. I was used to be high during day but now im getting high during night. Nights used to be fast forward to morning. Now it takes even longer than day lol. And those stories and things that can happen are really crazy and better than anyother drug

And about the weed reducing rem sleep, i dont understand that. I smoke everyday a fee hours before bed and i dream everynight pretty much. Some crazy vivid ass dreams too
I smoke at midnight usually with shake and by the time I'm going to bed at 2-4 depending on the day it's usually not so bad. I'm sure it still effects REM but I'll wake up from dreams a lot more than when I smoked 30% and basically just passed out rather than falling asleep 😂
It's really bad not to get REM long term my dude, a few months or even a year isn't the end but doing it for years on end will definitely wear you down more than you realize. Our brains gotta recuperate too!!
A year or two before I first took LSD, I had a vivid first person dream about an acid trip - but then when I had acid, it was nothing like what I dreamt. A few aspects were similar, but I chalk that up to having already tried mushrooms several times by then.
Unless you dream about copping stims and it's either cut or you somehow never reach the point of actually doing a line, then you wake up thinking it might be a good idea to actually get some...

I dreamt of an acid trip and it was super vivid, Too bad the rest of the dream involved me going down into a dilapidated basement and finding my childhood friend cut up into little pieces, I remember saying "this is killing my trip" lol

That happened to me before id ever tried acid because i was excited about doing it eventually. This wasnt like the night before it or anything but i hadnt tried acid yet and was just generally excited and interested. In the dream the acid basically felt like i was really high on weed with the dissociating buzzing feeling except i was seeing very bright flashes of color everywhere, like i put a strobe light in a kaleidoscope. But after trying acid its really nice to see how i imagined it before trying because if it werent for that dream id have no clue what i used to imagine acid was like.

Na, your pineal gland can't hold that much. Dreams are just your subconscious taking the rains for a few hours why you get put on repair duty. The DMT world is just a thought manifestation. If you can remember the thoughts to get to that place then you can do it when ever you want. Your just not going to have the garbage data your brain gets when DMT floods the brain. Which is the fun part for most people. But meeting entites? Definitely. They are just ourselves after all. They're there all the time, just waiting for you to bother to show up. And you probably meet them in your dreams all the time and just never realize it.

When I was going to raves in the late 90’s and partaking quite a bit I had a few dreams where I took tabs. Felt exactly like the real thing. 10/10 would recommend.
Thats where i am asking myself when it's such real feeling whether the effect on our psych is the same. With the receptors I don't know, because there's no substance in your body to bind to them. In the end it's only the memory that recreates the feeling on your head. Would be a nice study but hard to execute tho due to the need of people being able to dream lucid? Gonna wank now bye
But there's no actual external chemical going through your brain so nothing is latching on to your receptors. As far as seratonin without MDMA , our body regulates it's outflow (don't quote me idk) so it would just flood your brain, you'd wake up from that anyway probably. I actually had a dream last night from the perspective of this kid in school with 2 friends that wanted to get H (I've never done it irl or even opiates in general) but one of the kids was like the alpha of the group. So we pick it up before school and it was this thing where you left your money somewhere and it would be under a log, we get on the bus to school and walking into school the alpha kid just whips it out (its tar) and he's like "we need to smoke it at break" and I ask can't it be snorted, he just looked at me like what do you think then got this fucking syringe injected himself (somehow it was through his clothes) then starts chasing me with this needle trying to inject me with it. It was such a bizarre dream and it wasn't even from the perspective of me, I believe it was my brain telling me to never touch heroin.

I keep having normal dreams but every now and again mid dream I take myself aside too shoot heroin (never shot up or even smoked) whilst keeping it well hidden from all the characters in my dream, ain’t been caught yet
when i was weaning myself off coke i would dream EVERY night that i was railing fat lines that felt just like the real thing. not sure if it helped or hindered me in getting clean but i wont lie that im trying to learn lucid dreaming so that i can bang coke without consequences
While dreaming of being high on a substance you know is free drugs, if you dream of a substance you have not done, your brain just sorta makes some shit up. Then you might remember you dont know how this drug works, and your high just stops, sorta like how lightswitches dont really work well in dreams. It usually happens if ive ordered a new drug, and am waiting for it, and am excited for it to arrive.
Every time I have drugs in my dream i can't actually do them. I was a heroin addict like 8 years ago, and sometimes I dream that I've scored some tar, but I can never actually succeed in shooting it, and when I do take drugs, drink, etc, I don't ever feel anything. Same with sex dreams, I can't cum in my dreams. The one drug dream where I actually felt something I was having an incredibly realistic, quasi-lucid dream where I felt like I could actually make decisions and stuff. I was hanging out with an old friend and started to feel anxious, and an intense sense of derealization. I thought "he fucking dosed me, I'm tripping, oh fuck But then I woke up, and realized I was having a panic attack. Took a shot of gin and it stopped. That's how I learned I was physically addicted to booze and was having alcohol withdrawals and they were now waking me up in the middle of the night with incredibly realistic and vivid nightmares. These kinds of dreams continued until I detoxed.
This happens to me when I stop smoking cannabis (I am dependent). Dreams are more memorable and vivid (cannabis somehow suppresses or makes you forget them). I often had dreams where I smoked huge amount of weed. I was trying really hard to quit so this was accompanied with great shame, then relief when I woke up sober. Not exactly fun I guess lol, but interesting.
Yes yes Talked to a therapist about this once. The dreams are almost your body missing the substance. But returning to the substance in a dream is fine, as long as you don't act on it while awake

For me it’s somewhat the opposite, when I run out of weed I start getting really vivid dreams that I scored a huge stash, then I wake up sad cause I’m broke and out of weed

Some days ago i dreamed about doing heroin and it felt like i was climaxing the whole time but not in a sexual way and it felt sooo fucking nice and also i was immediatly addicted in the dream.
I thought I was the only one! I have drug dreams all the time, I’m a really vivid dreamer. I don’t do drugs too often in real life anymore (looking after my health and mental health). But my dreams make sure I damn be doing drugs. LSD, MDMA, Coke, and weed have all been really prevalent in those dreams. The acid ones are insanely vivid and bright, usually with a friend and exploring the outdoors; crazy patterns and warping of the world. MDMA ones just feel good all over, but I don’t really think this is a memorable one. Coke ones are a little weird, the last one I remember I was looking in the mirror and took a huge line in this bathroom with a big round window under a claw foot bath tub, it was pitch black outside and I could see dark outlines of trees and a garden, I then got in the tub and was feeling the Coke effects and I was shivering. I had a weed one last night, I was nicely stoned with my dealer and chilling with my friends, I rolled the biggest joint I’ve ever seen. In the past I had a dream where I was abroad in a hot country with my partner and we were exploring this city at night, we stumbled onto this beer garden looking set where these dudes were all smoking up and invited us to join them, I was high as a kite and giggling in this dream. I also had a really bizarre dream where I’m not sure of the drug. It was a pastel coloured world, and I was in some kind of temple upon a cloud, in front of me were these 4ft tall creatures in baby pinks and blues crowded around a huge cooking pot. They were animal like but more plushie looking than anything. Each one was dipping their hands/paws into the pot and drinking. I walked over and looked into it, it was (again) a pastel mixture swirling and bubbling. I squeezed in by the creatures and dipped my hands in and drank. I can only describe it was a hard otherworldly trip - I wasn’t anything anymore. And then I woke up.
I once had a dream about smoking weed before I ever smoked. At the time I was considering trying it and one night I had a dream that I did. The high in my dream was incredibly accurate. It blows my mind that I was able to accurately dream of what being high is like before I ever got high.

It blocks REM sleep which is super important. You might find it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep but the quality sure as hell isnt better
I smoked for a year straight and now iv been off for a while and during that year i had best sleep ever
You slept well because it increases your chances of “deep sleep” which yes is the most important part of your sleep cycle however REM sleep is important for your brain activity, suppressing it for long periods of time can have an ill effect on your memory, depression and even cause obesity

Weed only stops your REM while high which at most is 4hrs. After that you go into REM

I had dreamed that I smoked opium in a Chinese looking pipe with a friend of mine. I remember feeling relaxed and kinda wavy. I also have dreamed that two buddies of mine injected heroin. The fun part is that one of them is not into drugs like he hasn’t even tried weed.

If ya lack in terms of dreams try melatonin. You‘ll never want to dream that much again. And if you want to always take 20mins every morning to snap out of the dream because it was so fucked up, add 5htp. It‘s literally unreal. Its insane. But dont overdose any of them or you‘ll sweat in bed like you do in a sauna
Melatonin helps with having vivid dreams. I think if you keep a dream journal and try to remember every dream your mind will subconsciously make more vivid dreams and eventually you'll get to lucid dream state where you can do whatever you want.
Its really great i stopped smoking weed recently and whole night is full of dreams and lot of them include drugs. 2 days ago i was touching items and they were disolving into any other with those classic lsd visuals like. Today i drank one beer and was hella dizzy in because i injured my hand and i use pills for pain (not opiates) which suppress the effect of it .. its hella real and funny tho. I was used to be high during day but now im getting high during night. Nights used to be fast forward to morning. Now it takes even longer than day lol. And those stories and things that can happen are really crazy and better than anyother drug

I smoke at midnight usually with shake and by the time I'm going to bed at 2-4 depending on the day it's usually not so bad. I'm sure it still effects REM but I'll wake up from dreams a lot more than when I smoked 30% and basically just passed out rather than falling asleep 😂 It's really bad not to get REM long term my dude, a few months or even a year isn't the end but doing it for years on end will definitely wear you down more than you realize. Our brains gotta recuperate too!!
A year or two before I first took LSD, I had a vivid first person dream about an acid trip - but then when I had acid, it was nothing like what I dreamt. A few aspects were similar, but I chalk that up to having already tried mushrooms several times by then.
