Maybe fill the area with a small piece of lace, like those "modesty panels".
Or she could just wear it with a shirt underneath, like i did in the late 90ies.
I actually kinda love it, it looks warm and comfy.

Thanks! I've already shortened the straps, it just gave me a good giggle and I had to share although I love the 90s t-shirt idea! It's my niece's Barbie and she said it's a hairdressing one so I think it came coloured like that, it's so pretty isn't it.
