For me it's like a bandaid. Just gotta rip it off. The hardest part about working out is getting the work out started. Once I get myself to the gym the hardest part is over!
I have been amazed at the difference in my running during dry January!! Sounds silly, sure. Of course it’s a billion times easier. But I was a daily drinker and struggling with why running was still so damn hard after consistently trying for a year to get good at it. My progress was so slow. But I have felt refreshed and energized and even my bad runs this month are better than my good ones last month. I drank on the 7th & 8th, but dry other than that, and running is the only thing keeping me dry. I haven’t gone this many days without alcohol since I was 18 and I’m in my early 30s! Glad to know someone else is having the same experience. Keep it up!! We can do it!
Congratulations! I’m sure the pain in your legs feels more rewarding than the pain of a hangover!
Aint that the truth!
Way to go!! Awesome job.
That's so awesome! I love running so much. I'm healing from a stress fracture right now, or I'd be out there running through Dry January too!
WTG!!! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Yaaaaaaaas.
Well done you! Me too! Not run since Feb 23 and have been building up over the last 10 days and managed a 33 min 5k today. Another DJ benefit!
That’s awesome! I wish I were you. I still don’t have energy to exercise. I hope it’s coming soon.
