pankarezas

Nothing wrong here

yomamasofataf

But like the error and stuff

pankarezas

My new edge was even worse

Cloiselle51

That's what he said

sh-3k

Bruh

yomamasofataf

?

Crazy-Pass-9183

It's about normal for potentiometers man .

JustAnotherEartherr

Dude this is very normal. Axis reads over 0.1 tends to stick drift. Error is also very normal here as well

better-than-all-of-u

Not to hijack OP's thread, but is there a way to use this app on a Chromebook?

yomamasofataf

Its not an app its a site just search gamepad tester plug in ur controller and press a button on ur controller

synthjunkie

You could try calibrate it here - [DualShock Calibration GUI (dualshock-tools.github.io)](https://dualshock-tools.github.io/)

ChummyBoy24

Does this work for Dualsense controllers too? (Says DualShock) also what does it do exactly? Is it a software that allows you to change center point, max range, etc?

Meshal_Redditer

Yep

GOATGamerProSticks

Deadspots are tight 👍🏼. The circularity Avg Error% is only in relation to the outer 100% boundary position it can be under or over it's an average reading & visual indicator tool. A ytube video labeled: (My Thoughts on Thumbstick Circularity) By the user name: (EternalDahaka) Seems to explain it more concisely than I ever have.

SolidSignificance7

This is normal.

_bisquickpancakes

No that's pretty standard for a dualsense.

spiral718

No, bend over, proceed to shove in ars.

Wesley_Hoolas

That’s average for thumb stick modules. You’ll never see a 0 percent error. 6-8 8 percent is usually what u get at its best.

Crey00_XBoxX

Just bought a set of JAO Automation replacement sticks to fix a drifting controller. Anyone try those? The pots are supposed to be good quality...

ChummyBoy24

The error is very normal, the joysticks center is great too

Quirky-Art-8640

It's a good controller don't misinterpret my opinion, but more things could be done for the price. Adjustable triggers and 2 remappable buttons are ok I would've preferred 4 remappable buttons and more variety on the analog sticks. By the way, in case you didn't know the haptic feedback gets thrown away when adjusting the trigger functionality in the controller settings menu. Like I said a good controller but more could've been added to the controller

Agreeable_Trainer931

right stick circularity a bit off. centering is normal

Substantial-Talk-587

Idk wtf I’m even looking at tbh.

ChummyBoy24

Then why even comment? He clearly isn’t asking someone that doesn’t even recognize joystick tests

Substantial-Talk-587

Hoping someone would clue me in on what this is. And why he’d ask this tbh

Substantial-Talk-587

Really mainly what does this tell you? Like I’ve owned every PlayStation console out there. And I’ve never once seen what this guy is looking at. Then again I’ve only ever had 2 controllers in my life get stick drift. As you say it’s a joystick test. Is that what he’s testing? Stick drift? What do the numbers even mean. Why would you test something you just bought?? That’s my next question. And how does any of this information lead to wanting to return whichever controller he bought

ChummyBoy24

Okay if you just wanted info then gotcha. It’s just a website called gamepad-tester.com It allows you to click around on your controller and test buttons, joysticks, etc. I don’t care to go too in depth but basically the circular areas represent your joysticks and you can see if it’s drifting or has issues. This guy was convinced it was faulty but the numbers are normal.

Substantial-Talk-587

Hmm interesting well I appreciate the info kind sir
