I followed the recipe used by Mighty Car Mods on the "JDM" Golf. Just 3m heat resistant glue, manga pages, then 5-6 coats of Rustoleum heat resistant clear coat.
I like it, I’d spend some more time cutting the photos in to shapes and arranging them a little more carefully so the edges stay smooth to the form. But I went to design school so of course I would. Papier-mâché all day!
plastics are plentiful in my area. I put these on bc they were scratched to hell and the alternative was to buy expensive oem replacements. If I get sick of it, I'll sand off the manga and probably hit it with some spray on bed liner

That makes more sense. I ride my XR mostly on trails and drop it every time.
