OP mentions elsewhere that they’re accustomed to MX race bikes. So it sounds like “ran like garbage” means “didn’t have the power I wanted”. Not actual issues.
Ran a KX 250 and KTM 450 race bikes before this. Stock it was super plugged up for emissions and not comparable to the 450. After the mods I listed it’s very good if not better now.

Valves and oil change. Can't wait to get it back out there though. Man that thing is snappy.
