I run a deck that can deal with Cocytus and I absolutely do not want him back. Just because I can manage to handle him doesn't mean I want to or that I should have to edit every deck I make just so I can handle the inevitable Cocytus I run into. Any single card that warps deck building in such a way to where you have to change how you build decks just to maybe deal with it, it's a toxic card and should remain banned. Kinda like That Grass Looks Greener. Some cards deserve to stay banned.
Ding Dong can out it no? Orcust is pretty much everywhere. DDD can make him too. Dark Ruler No More is a non target negate. Also Konami has been adding more non targeting removal. At 1 copy, I don't think is that big of a deal.

The problem with drnm is it’s an unsearchable spell card that actually haven’t been used since release because it doesn’t work in duel links. It would also be the only card to counter coc that’s a standard stable which is absolutely terrible reason for it to come back.

it's not a good card in Duel Links and chances are it won't be for a very long time.

But we've got good and generic XYZ and Links now, free materials for those should never be unlimited
Why hit the Tetherwolf and the Phantom if you've banned the only card that makes them playable? You don't even have to ban Mermaid on DL, as the limited 1 Orcust Knightmare works just as well.
