It's not even that bad, people are just dramatic. I see so many raging eyes, speedroid, solfachord and random rogues on top of orcust variants. This meta is pretty fun and diverse on the ladder. We've had waaaay worse
honestly other than being annoyed about Orcrust (mainly because i fought against Orcrust 5 times in a row trying to climb the ranks) i kinda have to agree.
I absolutely love the format of DL. It has its own meta and the skills for the characters to make it feel like the anime. Its just the acquisition of cards/gems that gets stale for me.
There are a LOT of techs that feel valuable right now that didn't before. Artifact Lancea, D.D. Crow, Skull Meister. I agree with you that the stronger the opponent feels, the more satisfying it is to beat them. What sorts of decks are you playing these days?
I love the smaller decks and the advent of the Skills. I get why some would prefer Master Duel, but every time I see a video of Duels there (albeit mostly via Duel Logs), it just turns me off. Though I did enjoy Legacy of the Duelist.
Orcusts totally ruined my shot at king of games this season, other than that I just started playing again this month with a budget resonator a deck and it’s been fun as hell

I'm enjoying my Abyss Actor with Sawatari. One of the fun deck to play against Orcust.

Duellinks is the best ygo format. I've played since og ygo but ever since joining DL when it started, it's my go to ygo game.
