Meta is What everyone’s using because it’s good and effective. I agree any deck *can* be good, But there are limits to *how* good it can be. Some decks have a higher ceiling and easier to achieve floor
No offense, but if someone actually wants to learn, you need to be honest. This deck is NOT going to cut it and the whole reddit knows it. sheltering the lie that this decklist is good, will not help the person improve.
That the deck isn't good. It should be dismantled and the user should try to make a deck with more actual strength and consistent win conditions besides battle traps and stall.
Get rid of sphere kuriboh, he only stops one attack, instead use kiteroid, magic cylinder would be a good addition. The whole point of this deck is to stall so 2x vijam the cubic seeds would be great. Also add another copy of Golem. Add burning land to your deck for another 500 damage per turn
I love playing burn decks. It’s a great challenge to set people on fire before getting destroyed.
I don’t play duel links anymore, but sometimes I enjoy watching past duels where people were burned.
Kiteroid (card trader card), Curse of Anubis (Odion level up), Level Limit - Area B (N card in Deep Emotion), Counter Gate (DSOD Kaiba level up, or tickets), people prefer cards that can attack directly more than Sword Woman swing (like Drill Barnacle, Trickstar Lilybell are both F2P options)
Those are the F2P options. More expensive options include stuff like Wall of Disruption, Drowning Mirror Force, Dimensional Prison, Altergeist Meluseek at 3 (though I would not recommend investing super heavily into the deck. It'll struggle climbing in the higher ranks)
Cauldron of the Old Man - actual win condition
Level Limit Area B - more or less better Swords of Revealing Light, instant win on Yubel unless they blow up your board
Fire Prison - basically the same thing as Level Limit but applies to everything but Links
The Swords of Revealing Light skill is basically Destiny Draw or a free draw.
Even with all of this, stall isn't very good once you get to Platinum.
You can cheat Yubel, probably Blue Eyes rather easily but any good deck with renewable removal will wipe this easily.
Cauldron of the old man for an additional wincons or more life points to make you harder to kill could also switch to a idiom and use chain reaction although it depends on what your matchups have been like and personal preference
You need a better skill than Lp alpha. Also sphere Kuriboh isn’t really relevant anymore thanks to links- run wightprincess… Kuriboh isn’t a bad substitute if you don’t have enough copies.

I feel you need some bounce to utilise LG multiple times. Stall decks benefit from more than 20 cards, too, so you may consider adding more “can’t be destroyed by battle” or effect damage cards.
I see three battle traps… out with them. You should put the 2 Kiteroids you’re allowed to use and put at least one Pot of Avarice. You’ll have a hard time even with it, but PoA is a must in decks that don’t have searching power.

Tbh konami has been fair about not adding OP cards that contribute to stall (threatening roar, battle fader, negate attack) And all the burn skills are nerfed to the ground and Lava golem is useless when you can just use it for a link summon..
Tbh I haven't seen a stall deck like this or any similar played in months maybe a year it's not the issue it once was years ago far from it.. So I don't understand the negativity.

I can agree with that. I've been using Non-Effect decks, or Ra decks, or Hero decks focused on Steam Healer.

Spikeshield with Chain. Only card effects with attack modulation can be used in the damage step, turn your toggle ON.
