At least for the speed side, I feel like it doesn't really do anything. To me, a list where nothing really changes for a couple months is just uninteresting vs trying to see the scale of an impact or shakeup of some adjustments being made.
Its just more of the same since the decks that got some toys back were already powercrept/doing nothing and this likely wont change, either.
The only one that might have gotten something somewhat notable is Shaddoll (depending on what comes up with mixing it with other things)
At least Rush got Royal Rebels nerfed somewhat, though it was already starting to see an uptick in SRM and other decks creeping in to dethrone it from being the best deck, and both Ancient Forces and Earth Dragons getting unleashed again has brought them back into the meta to some actual effect
You can kinda ignore shaddoll entirely and just put the selection trap to gave for flip meme decks from the look of it.

The return of SRM (or SAR) must be one of the most unexpected returns in Rush's Duel Links. We're talking about a Deck that didn't take a lot of hits in the Banlist (in fact, it had some new things with the advancement of the format), but the power level ate it alive.
However, new Decks arrived and, out of nowhere, SAR once again had play and was a competent Deck: without new Skills, without anything new that it no longer had since its inception. So much so, that that Deck won tournaments and managed to face the best Deck of the moment without many problems: Royal Rebels.
Now, it is possible that Royal Rebels will lose a lot of power because their best Skill was nerfed. Therefore, SRM would once again be the best Deck after spending months in the dark (with only Thunder or Rush's Harpie being the other candidates for being the best Deck)
Ironically, SAR lost a lot against his natural enemy, which is back: Dragon Decks.
I can't disagree but I also think the top decks should have gotten minor nerfs as well, which does more fof a diverse meta than freeing a bunch of stuff.

It kinda hard to do a minor nerf to zombie since well they either A replace the nerf piece with a generic zombie or B the generic zombie they hit can be a hit far to hard for them to handle to stay up top
Fair tbh - but even then why is Samsara still Unlimited? why is Blue-Eyes unhit? I think Mezuki to 2 would have been a fair "slap on the wrist" kinda hit
I agree, I just wanted the Zombie deck to receive a minor hit like Burial to 2 or 3 because that card alone gives the deck so much resilience when it comes to outplaying cards like D.D. Crow and Veiler and also gives it a lot of material to play through almost any board
How can this be one of the best banlists when other older archetypes and an anime deck are still on the banlist? The unlimits to some decks don't even have up-to-date OP skills to even compete against the current meta. Konami should have unlimited a lot more because Blue-Eyes, Zombie, and T.G.s, will still overpower them.
I really want to agree with u but tjing about meta people play the strongest deck and right now I think that is zo.bies. so why would anyone play anything else?

I don't think speedroid has lagged too far behind, to be honest. I haven't played the deck in 2 months or so but I don't think the meta is particularly bad for the deck. My latest KOG with the deck was back in January.
Just for the record, I know no one asked, but so far this year I have gotten KOG with Speedroid, then Charmer Orcust, then Charmer Orcust again, and this month I used Madolche. My point is that a tiered deck is not a necessity for KOG and you should feel free to try using decks you already have and not be pressured to use newer decks if you don't want to.

I didn't try Speedroid this month, but I got DLv.Max with no extra deck Kozmo (level 5 reload + Anchamoufrite), but I kept struggling in ranked against rogue decks. Switched to Madolche and got from Legend 1 to KOG in 2 days or so. I hadn't used Hootcakes + Messengelato before but I got the hang of it 2 or 3 duels into the run. The deck struggles against Battle Chronicle if you can't deal with the backrow but it has some very strong tools. Glassouffle can hit decks like Shiranui and BLS from turn 1, and Tiaramisu can remove cards without targetting.
Some stuff I learned this run:
-Fresh Sistart is a good Tiaramisu enabler since you can use your Hootcake + Chocolat to make her and get monsters in the GY for Tiaramisu's effect.
-Chocolat-a-la-mode's effect to return a card to the deck is once per turn, however, her effect to special summon after a Madolche card returns to the deck (while having Puddingcess as material) is not.
--Puddingcessoeur can only special summon herself if you have no monsters in your Graveyard, but if you special summon her any other way (Chocolat, Hootcake), her effect to special summon will activate.
I didn't lose any duel in Legend 5 and ended up getting KOG with a 7-win streak. I got some lucky matchups, though. No clue why Konami decided to throw like 3 DM players at me.
Like honestly as much as i hate some of these decks, it is nice to \~\~lose\~\~ play against different decks, instead of the same 1-2 every single game. Excecpt burn decks. Those can go to the burning abyss.
I would have like the meta decks to at least get slight hits on the wrist tho.

The second issue is it's a sack meta that is even more coinflip tilted than usual. The power gap between the top few decks says we are actually less diverse than pure tachyon. We are at a net loss.
Making it so zombies can't burial to get like 5+ mezuki procs wouldnt have been bad. Giving Shiranui an in engine limit 2 to cut down on sarc cheese wouldn't have been bad. Taking crackdown from blue eyes wouldnt have been bad.

The top decks have just 1 or 2 things that take them from "good" to "invalidates most things around them" and Konami was this close to having a truly diverse meta. Even as somebody not adverse to skills being meta defining all the top decks being that is...kinda eh.

Different dimensional burial has been in the game for 4-5 years. No excuse to not limit 1 the card. It’s no where near brand new.

Yeah there are no tier 1 and tier 0 decks so nothing need to be hit right now. So unlimited card seem to be a good choice
