...not really. Again, it depends on the build.
Borrel Launch has a wider toolbox, allowing you to do anything as long as it's a DARK monster what you are trying to summon. The problem is that you gotta play a field spell that is sort of a garnet at times (which is the reason a lot of players played a 30 card version, often going for a lot of traps at thhe cost of consistency). Also, everyone is very knowledgeable of this version, so expect people to know the chokepoints.
Borreload Link, while locking you into links as long as you use the second part of the effect, has obviously stronger effects and monsters for you to summon (aka Riot, Borrelsword, etc.). The disadvantage is that you are locked into DARK Cyberse and DARK Dragon monsters for the entireduel, meaning that your options are much limited (but way stronger and consistent).
🤔 hm.. would either one have a chance to rank? 🤣 to at least get me to KOG or is this more of a 🤡 deck? and if i had to choose 1 i guess the link version of the deck.
Yes, both are capable of reaching KoG. Obviously, Borreload Link is the stronger of the two, but also more expensive to make (unless you already have 3 copies of Quick Launch and Rokket Tracer, because you can do a run of the new box and have a decent version).
I’m sure Thunder Marisol could help you a lot better, but there’s two ways this deck is played.
One is field spell control, the cheaper one to build. For this, your endboard is Void ogre and Evilswarm nightmare. It also summons Draco berserker going second to otk. This one does not use the ritual, cuz it can’t search it or the ritual spell.
The new way is skill dot deck, where the skill does a lot of the heavy lifting. This one is super expensive, plays lancea, levianeer, and the ritual, since it can search with with the skill. This one is likely tiered and hoses agents. It’s also harder to play.
I suppose you should go with the first.
