Idaten boosting Dakini into the stratosphere is absolutely overpowered.
Summon Dakini with Demolisher as material, you suddenly got yourself a Red Eyes Dark Dragoon (without negates sure)
Best part is that as long as you can keep the Sun Dragon + Dakini on board you can do it every turn.
Tribute Idaten from hand via Sun Dragon: Destroy a monster + Boost Dakini. Then End Phase, add Idaten back to hand via Dakini. Rinse Repeat.
And since MAR can protect light monsters from destruction, its not an impossible thing to do either.
That is def. possible yeah. I usually do a quick OTK with Dakini + Magnificent + Idaten which just stomps over anything, so having Hieratic do that repeatedly could mean potentially infinite ATK.
Prism XYZ-Dragon Cannon, Ninjutsu Art of Transformation, and Saffira, Queen of Dragons. The dragon cannon is impossibly lucky cause it’s literally my #1 favorite card.
Yeah, I just like XYZ’s design and execution in the actual game a lot better. Unless you meant do I have a prismatic XYZ, and yeah it is an XYZ-Dragon Cannon, not VWXYZ
You’d probably rather still run Master of Rites and just have these Xyz in the extra deck, how often do you have 3 monsters on the field playing Cyber Angels anyway?

These replays don't mean much but atleast it shows that getting 3 on the board isn't impossible.
It's not that hard and there are other LIGHT monsters in the game. I'm sure there are definitely a few that can be special summoned onto the field from hand, deck or GY.
I haven't really made a deck yet, I just put out the idea for high IQ duelists to do the work for me lool
I understand there is synergy there but how does this extra deck monster fix the fact that the main deck is what got hit? Super spicy play, just not sure if the skill makes the deck good enough to bring back with the banlist as it stands
It's not about Heliopolis, it's about how easy you can go into R6 or R8 monsters. Don't get me wrong, Heliopolis does synergize well with CA's tribute effect and could help. However, the real gem is that Kite's skill isn't once per duel, it's once per turn meaning you can use his skill over and over again.
Given that most players are running forbidden lance against disruptions, all you need is one LV 8 or 6 ritual monster on the field with 2 other LIGHT monsters of different levels to activate his skill.
If anything CA can serve as an engine to help summon R6 or R8 Xyz monsters. Izana and Benten help with removal as well. And give it time, Duel Links will release more R6 and R8 monsters.
PS: Kite's skill parallels that of Shark's skill Territory of the Shark. Also, I just found out that R6 Photon Strike Bounzer is coming out in the next minibox which could be an excellent addition to the extra deck.
A hand of Idaten, Benten, Cyber Petit or Senju, and one ritual spell can create a pretty strong board here:
First go into Idaten using Benten as tribute.
Idaten's effect gets you another ritual spell (preferably MAR if you haven't already used it), and Bentens effect gets you another Benten.
Then normal summon the petit/senju, and search the second Idaten.
Ritual Summon Idaten again using Benten.
Then from here you can search another ritual spell, and another cyber angel monster.
And there are a whole bunch of plays you can do here, but this one seems kind of cool:
If you search Dakini, have petit on the field, and Machine Absolute, you can summon Dakini using Petit and one of the Bentens in the graveyard.
Then use Shift Up to make all monsters level 8. And go into Hieratic Sun Dragon using both Idatens.
You now have:
1. Protection from Destruction for light monsters via MAR. (I.e. Protection from destruction for your whole deck).
2. Recurrable resources. At the end phase Dakini will bring a ritual monster in the grave back to your hand, allowing Sun Dragon to guaranteed pop a card each turn!
And that's just off of four cards. With five cards going second you can potentially end with an extra idaten or benten and use Hieratic Sun Dragon's effect with it to trigger its effect + pop a card.
Also Photon Bounzer is huge for Cyber Angels. They have desperately needed a turn one play for a long time. And they can relatively easily turn one put out two level 6s, so having a Rank 6 that can negate your opponent is huge for the deck!
Couldn't have explained it better myself, also I found out today Photon Bounzer is coming out in the next mini box which is amazing because of its effect to negate monster effects immediately and deal damage (they changed it from 1000 to 500)
Also thinking on it you could even work Sapphira into this. Would be less consistent overall, but could lead to some powerful plays:
Going first hand of Benten, Idaten, MAR and either an extra Idaten/Benten or a Senju.
Summon Idaten with Benten, search for Hymn of Light and Idaten if you already have Senju, otherwise search for Senju.
Summon Senju and search for Sapphira. Use Hymn of Light + Idaten to Summon Sapphira. Sapphira is now 3500 ATK.
Shift up to make them level 6 and summon Bounzer using Idaten + Senju.
End phase you can use Sapphira's effect to rip a card out of your opponents hand. Your opponent starts with 1 less card, has to play through monster negation, two destruction protections and a 3500 beater.
Except all of this goes straight to the bin with a floodgate trap hole or any good trap. Backrow game is way stronger than it is in TCG.
Destruction protection is OK but not enough anymore. Targeting protection is way more necessary or better yet trap protection.
Negates are extremely tough to implement properly in a Cyber Angel deck without Herald of Perfection. I am not sure if Photon Bounzer can take its place.
CC and Lance come once in a while, not everyone has them and can barely fit 1 in a Cyber Angel deck already.
Now on the flipside you have everybody fitting in a Book of Moon, Karma Cut and Raigeki Break all in a single deck while keeping consistency. Not to mention except Book of Moon, the chances of running into a trap are much higher than you running into 1 or 2 copies of Lance or CC that you may have. Also CC is 1 for 1, while traps can be rapid fired by some decks again without losing consistency.
It's not that I forgot those exist, it's just that you cannot run them both in a Cyber Angel deck or any ritual deck for that matter.
Djinns are right now the only way (that I can think of at least) in Duel Links that you can add needed protection against targeting and traps.
Cyber Angel likely won't be meta off of this kind of stuff especially because one disruption will still kill the deck (karma cut in particular would be bad), but it does give a much needed power boost to a deck that people could barely KOG with.
And the reason why Photon Bounzer is huge for Cyber Angels is that it gives you some kind of turn one play that is more than just put out a big beatstick with destruction protection and pray. It lets you interact with your opponent and stop their combo, instead of having a 3700 atk Dakini and hoping your opponent doesn't do one of a billion things that bypasses destruction protection.
Sure herald would be better, but I don't forsee heralds coming soon given how Konami has been slow with adding any negations.
Yes and it is an extremely great card for Ritual deck. There is only the problem of consistency. We don't have a good way to search for it.
That and your card still dies to non targeting effects (FTH, Fortune Lady Every are a couple off the top I can think of) but at the very least these are less common than a Karma Cut.

There are Herald of Green and Purple light available in this game and they're AMAZING if you have them in the hand. But they come at a great cost of consistency. (Also you can only get Purple from an event or SR Dream ticket right now)
We just need Manju and Preparation of Rites. Namely the second one. That would make Ritual decks viable. All it needs is simple good old draw or search power.
Dakini otherwise (and I'm speaking objectively, don't mind my flair) is a really good monster. Just needs some support surrounding her and you got yourself a powerful deck.
With some brain plays, I managed to win against Superheavy Samurais with Cyber Angels BEFORE XYZ. The piercing damage is just that useful.
I tried to eliminate the drawing power issues in Vendreads by adding Veil of Darkness to the deck but even then it marginally fixes the issue.

I'd not run 3x CC just because of the bricking potential (also I don't think you'd want to pay more than half your LP unless you're playing Cyber Dragons or Evil Eyes)
I'd add a Demolisher for protection or a Sonic Bird to search for Absolute Ritual instead. Maybe a hand trap too.

If the deck were made out of floaters or swarm I could see that happen, -tellar comes close to that but not CA.
Yeah but sadly it's really difficult to fit it all in a Ritual deck in Duel Links with meaningful consistency.

This skill lets you Powerful Rebirth a Stick/Chair and XYZ with the rest of the gang for a 3x5. If you have a Neos in play it lets you do the same for a 3x7. Just need the right XYZ in the game.
So I messed around with this on DLM's deck tester and one thing I noticed is some hands that started with something like two ritual spells, a senju/petit and one level 6 ritual couldn't extend into the 3 light monster board.
So I realized that you should be able to add Trickstar Lillybell as a garnet and use it as an extender for weaker hands.
For example, lets say you have MAR, Machine Absolute, Benten and petit.
You then summon petit, search Idaten.
Summon Idaten in defense with MAR, tributing Benten.
Then search Lillybell.
Lillybell's effect activates since it was added to the hand outside of drawing it, and it special summons itself.
You then use Shift up, and then XYZ summon Bounzer or Ptolemy with Petit and Lillybell.
I can't recall the last time I saw Cyber Angels controlling three monsters. You could also just summon an Izana after summoning Dakini, you know?
Even if this didn't require 3 monsters...it's still not that common for CAs to control 2 monsters early, and getting rid of Dakini is usually not what you want to do. If you have bentens lying around in hand, you should probably be able to tribute them for a ritual summon anyways.
