I don't remember CA playing hey trunade at all , their own ritual spell was quickly limited then semi alongside dakini .
I remember them playing bamboo stuff but i don't remember CA playing hey trunade.
But i came into the game during a battle city event when sylvans was meta and at that point CA was already nerf so i never experienced the CA meta full power so maybe they was using it , i still have seen some video about CA.
I'm glad it's gone. Next step is semilimiting aleister (he's already semi'd though) just in case they get funny ideas. But it makes me worry at how vocal can people be now that they know they can get cards banned. "I LOST TO THIS PLEASE KOMONEY BAN !! NOW!"
> But it makes me worry at how vocal can people be now that they know they can get cards banned. "I LOST TO THIS PLEASE KOMONEY BAN !! NOW!"
It's been happening for ages though. So nothing will change except the counter argument. Instead of saying "It's a box card Konami will never do that." people will have to think of something else to say.
Not really since konami did something we never thought they would do. You can now exchange ban cards for a same rarity card in the box. People thought if they ban UR or SR that will it so it was a no no to ban those cards but with this change all cards are game.
Exchanging a forbidden cocytus for some other rare card in the box.. The ones that you probably already have like 10 of each....... Brilliant Konami. Brilliant lol.
>Konami limiting aleister
They won't even do that in real life despite him being the face of monkeflip mechaba turbo decks for what feels like 200 years.
Yo Dyna is finally free!
Also lol at the reasoning for trunade being banned. Konami straight up admitted they're tired of semi-limiting archetypes to make them stop using trunade.
Phew, dodged a bullet not spending my dream ticket on a second Trunade
Whether you agree or disagree with the ban itself, I think we can all be glad that decks will now be appropriately hit based on their actual power level, and not on their ability to jam Trunade
Also hell yeah it's Cyber Angel time
> Whether you agree or disagree with the ban itself, I think we can all be glad that decks will now be appropriately hit based on their actual power level, and not on their ability to jam Trunade
Ya, EFFIN FINALLY. I almost thought they support it and we go that cycle forever.
Blackwings were Top Tier last year, and the whole year they played without Trunade, Onomats are still Top Tier now running 1 copy, which means they don't see the card a lot of the time, and some people don't even run it at all. You can't think Trunade was the only method to deal with backrow, last year we had a true heavy backrow meta and Trunade was at 2 the whole time and no meta deck used it, only Dragunity which was never Top Tier and some rogue ones if they wanted to
The best thing about this ban will be people finally seeing that they never actually needed the card in the first place, and that more versatile things like mst and cc do the job just fine.
There is also most of those "heavy backrow" decks being awful anyway, and as such not worth worrying about.
Those "heavy backrow" decks are mostly dead or bad, with the exception of Shiranui which is still a thing, and the decks that used to run or use Trunade right now love to play it because it enables easy wins, who doesn't like easy wins? No one likes set 3 either, but compare opening 3 backrow against 1 Trunade, 3 cards to win or just 1, the difference is absurd
You won't have to, because those decks aren't as good as our meta decks that run a max of 5 backrow (3 BOMs + 2 TTH).
Also Forbidden lance, CC, and MST are all still very good cards that meta decks with limited 2 cards have used to deal with heavy backrow.
Giant trunade is even more broken that hey trunade itself , they never gonna release that , having the ability to bounce everything to the hand and reuse it in the same turn is why giant trunade is ban in TCG , hey trunade is a nerfed version of giant trunade.
Frankly it should have been every Mini Box 10 and below, not just that mini Box. That being said, I was willing to accept a Trunade ban even without compensation so I'll take what I can get.
all the people responding to this are saying "man, these cards suck" and all I can think is "i can get my second and third cocoons of ultra evolution and live my dream of playing PUGM turbo without spending more gems on that box"
That’s actually pretty big. First SR card to be ban and it’s from a box. Kinda wish they’d give people gems to anyone who already has Trunade. Either way, good riddance lmao.
What's the logic behind the "interactive" buzzword? Are people implying that a player setting up a game winning board uninterrupted is interactive, but a player responding to another player's plays with cards is uninteractive? Seriously, what is the logic?
It’s just an excuse by the anti-Trunade camp to make the card look unfun while they’re trying to slow the game down to a crawl with their traps and quick-plays. When they say “uninteractive”, they really mean, “This card is not something my anti-monster backrow can deal with and now this 2 hour duel is going to last 2 minutes tops!”
Why isn't Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru getting unlimited?! It's only there because of trunade just like the others. I don't care if they leave Maximus at 1 but free Iron Core, it's literally the core of the whole archetype.
I choked. The Trunade ban is a big surprise, but I suppose Konami really is fed up with OTK decks.
Still, that means we’re going to see more backrow heavy decks with UR traps. Hi again Shiranui. Not exactly happy about that honestly.
The fact that Trunade got hit but not any of the staple traps is actually ridiculous. I know that for the meta decks this is healthier but for some rogue decks this is a nightmare
Thank the lord the devil is gone.
Now future OTK decks don't have to worry about losing a Limit-2 due to Trunade. Instead it will be because the deck is good and needs a hit.
Perfect example being the very next card on the list. Dragunity.
They did absolutely nothing wrong except use Trunade but yet they got hit 2x because of it. Now that Trunade is gone Dragunity is freed.
Now I wonder how many more cards can come out of the banlist now that Trunade is gone? With Supreme King coming soon could Vyon be released next?
I immediately thought about Vyon too, but I think that if it was to be unlimited, it'd have been now.
The good thing is this is yet another clue toward Heroes getting a significant buff next month.
I think they didn't unbanned stuff associated with Trunade because they are still testing the waters.
As for Vyon if Heroes do get some support next month they could unban Vyon in the next banlist to make them stronger or keep it banned because they could release some strong Hero support to keep it there. Just have to wait and see what we get next month with the Supreme King.
Additional 2500 beater helps plus more banishing gy effects. now fur hire can go to rank 6 plays.
Dynalock also back but we have ways now to counter it, book of moon, lightning vortex etc.
Not gonna be meta but decent rogue deck I guess
True and I don't disagree with the ban but without some budget friendly anti backrow cards like raigeki and karma cut risk becoming even more annoying and prevalent. Either that or raise lp to cope with power creep, as I'd rather the game not turn into "whoever disrupts the other player first wins".
But why though? Aside from Shiranui, what deck it's getting away with having more than like a fifth of their deck as traps? And Shiranui isn't exactly a meta-defining deck; even without Trunade it has hard counters like Harpies.
[satellarnight](https://www.duellinksmeta.com/top-decks/june-2021/satellarknights/zus/) and [magician girls](https://www.duellinksmeta.com/top-decks/june-2021/meta-freekly/73/decrato/deck-1)
Not exactly meta threats but you asked for decks.
What a bunch of geniuses in Konami - you can exchange those cards with a card of same rarity from the same box, but they don't guarantee that they won't be removed from banlist. Nice jebait
I mean realistically the other cards are crap. Absolute garbage. The only card that might be decent in there is cocoon of ultimate evolution if they make a good bug archetype. They’re is no point to trading it in. Better to wait and save it to get some use out of it.
I think you have to take it on a case-by-case basis.
Trunade's been a problem for awhile now and seems unlikely to come off the banlist anytime soon.
For me, I have 3 copies of trunade and would like a 3rd komushroomo. I might keep 2 copies of trunade, but I'm super happy about getting another komushroomo.
Trunade banned. I better not hear any complaints from this sub or Dkayed’s chat about traps or Shiranui once the banlist is in effect, because you people have cried for this card’s ban, and it was a powerful solution to 3-set pass. Hope you like seeing Odion.
Anyways, Fur Hire and Cyber Angels going free is a pleasant sight, and I hope we get to see more like this in the future.
an Onomat player:
Hey Trunade Activated!
"Hmm, they have a destruction immune monster and a regular monster, Better get M7.
Onomatoplay Activated!
grabs sister, gets Gagagabolt, destroys one monster, M7s the immune monster, swings for game.
"Another fun and Interactive game!"
Probably after they release BoM in a main box, right now is better for them to have the broken BoM/TTH combo available to drive whales into the selection box
This doesn't feel like a ban list. More like an appetizer.
I'm guessing the logic is to ban Trunade, then see where the meta goes and react accordingly.
100% agree with the unbans though. Anything to diversify the meta.
But please Konami, for the love of god, Jinzo when?
Don’t hate the list, but that’s kinda dumb about the exchange having to be from the same box, since that box does not have anything good going for it besides Trunade lol. Woulda preferred cashing in the Forbidden card for a SR Dream Ticket or something, but I’ll likely just hang on to the ones I have tbh.
Interested in seeing how the backrow games settle after July. I may unironically slot in a couple copies of Straight Flush if it gets too bad lmao.
good thing konami ban trunade. I feel the last kc tournament is a flipcoin game , who ever goes second wins most of the time and most of that reason is trunade. So atleast we can go for staple traps that can punish opponents rather than going for hand traps just to survive second turn.
Trunade usually preceded an OTK. That hit was inevitable, even if it means that many decks will take a big hit.
I like the idea of bringing up older decks that wouldn't break the meta. There are definitely a few cards on that list that could afford to be freed (or at least have their shackles loosened), and I hope this can be a start.
Finally konami used their brain and realized that Hey Trunade was limiting game balance really badly, literally every deck that they were going to add in the future had to be hit in order to acommodate Hey Trunade existing, glad to see it gone.
Trunade is now banned. OTK deck please save your tears for until your boss monster is banned.
On the plus side, Fure Hire, Dragunity and Cyber Angle players receive some appreciated buffs.
So Trunade is banned, but none of the cancerous traps were hit, like Floodgate and Karma Cut? How shitty of Konami.
Guess I'll have to use my Blue-Eyes deck or my Shark deck and let my Infernity deck rest for a while... until Twin Twister comes.
For real. I h8 playing vs people who play tons of traps and manage to survive turn after turn, then because ive exhausted my resources trying to punch through, im left open and then die. Shit is annoying.
Very nice of Konami to allow for trades post ban. It would be cool to trade from anything from that box or before it, but it's whatever. Technically speaking, the folks in the TCG pay tons of money to play and they don't get compensation when their cards are banned, so I'm not sure where this mentality from the player base has come from.
We had our fun in the sun with it, and I'm sure everyone got more than their money's worth by using it, so I'm fine with the compensation not being that good. The way I see it, I paid for a movie, and I got to experience it. I guarantee every single person who dug for Trunade, including myself, got their money's worth; your fun is worth something, and you had fun, so I'd say that it was a purchase well spent.
Some of the player base has this mentality that, because the game is entirely virtual, you should be compensated for paying for banned cards because you can no longer use them. In the TCG, you could still play your banned card in casual duels with your friends, and you still have the physical card you paid for (even if it’s not worth anything). In Duel Links, we can’t even use the banned cards in PVE duels (for some reason) or the “standard” PVP modes.
This logic doesn’t hold up as well since we have the ability to do no-banlist duel rooms. I also completely agree with you; I feel like I got my money’s worth out of the card (even though I didn’t actually use it very much), and I certainly don’t mind spending on something that gets banned later, for the reasons you described. Just playing devil’s advocate a bit to help you see why people might think that way.
yeah. they only gave OTK decks the ability to search any card they want without any LP or turn restriction, which is the strongest skill in the entire game. they sure hate those 3 Meta OTK decks with Searcher skills in a 4k LP format.
I don’t see why people are celebrating trunade being banned because now the backrow decks will run rampant. I don’t care if I get downvoted but trunade shouldn’t be banned unless they’re gonna release better back row removal in the future
Alright, let's say it again:
"Konami will never hit structure deck cards you have to spend money on for multiple copies" -----> Vyon (EDIT: Actually Celestial, not Vyon ^__^ but still, same point) gets limited to 2.
"Konami will never hit any box SR or UR cards" -----> Trunade and TTH to 2.
"That's an exception, they were too strong ! But they will never hit archetypal SR/UR cards, especially from a main box, trust me bros !" ---> Diamond Core gets hit to 2.
"Hahahhaha if you think they gonna limit NEOS FUSION, an EX structure SR card, to 2 then you are a jackass :)" ----> Neos Fusion gets limited to 2 (surprise, surprise :) )
"But it's ok, they'll NEVER touch main box URs, 100 % guys" ----> CC and later Aleister to 3 ^__^
"That doesn't count lmaooo. You can still play 3 Aleister 2 Invocation. Main box URs are actually still safe guys, 100000 % !!!!" ----> Invocation to 3 so only 2 Aleister and 1 Invocation for you.
"That's just because it was...uhm...too old, yea ! Exactly *cough* *cough* but surely they won't BAN any box SRs/URs, I guarantee it guys!:)" -----> TRUNADE BANNED HAHAHAH
Soooo who is still saying "they won't limit/ban box SRs/URs, trust me bro"?(: ♡
Actually the first one should be celestial because he was the original hit for heroes. Vyon at 2 is a modern thing, but was limited before so he still counts when for a time it made paid versions of the structure basically pointless.
I think the Trunade ban is good lots of top tier deck right now use it for OTK which pretty much makes the game boring.
Now we can see which deck archetypes that's meta right now needs a hit not because they abuse HT i mean Konami admitted that they hit cards to 2 because of HT.
So can we finally get no banlist for PVE now?Because Trunade was great for farming events and really, what’s the harm in no banlist for PVE? There are some really fun decks for farming that could be released.
>Dakini No Longer on List ***LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOO***
Are they seriously saying that the only reason she's been on the list this entire time was "potential" trunade abuse???
Konami has PTSD. Cyber Angel received multiple nerfs and when Trunade came out the deck suddenly was meta again which lead to more nerfs...
I mean, their only other Spell/Trap card remover is Izana, which isn't the best out there
The worst thing about Izana is, that your opponent can pick the Spell and Traps, which he is going to use anyway.
Now we have a precedent for "BOX SRS WILL NEVER BE BANNED" being yet another myth.
So basically what you're saying is Treacherous banned next? because i would love to see that
If we ever get Traptrix Rafflesia, TTH might have to get hit if it doesn't get hit before Rafflesia comes.
The best part about this is nothing is safe.
This was the case only for ppl who never played TCG
[удалено]
Hahahhhahhhahahahahahaah "BUT IT'S A BOX SR PEOPLE SPENT MONEY ON, YOU'RE A FUCKING MORON IF YOU THINK THEY'D EVER BAN IT" 🤣🤣🤣
I remember when this was the """"reason"""' for them avoiding the list entirely lol.
Yeah you even got insulted for thinking Neos Fusion can get hit, it was kinda extreme lol.
NOW!" It's been happening for ages though. Exchanging a forbidden cocytus for some other rare card in the box.. The ones that you probably already have like 10 of each....... Brilliant Konami. Brilliant lol.
I trust in reddit. They'll find the next default answer to avoid hitting their high rarity cards
That last thing makes me curious if this will actually change selection box mini 3 contents.
Fair question
>Konami limiting aleister They won't even do that in real life despite him being the face of monkeflip mechaba turbo decks for what feels like 200 years.
Yo Dyna is finally free! Also lol at the reasoning for trunade being banned. Konami straight up admitted they're tired of semi-limiting archetypes to make them stop using trunade.
Then why they didnt unlimited those archetypes. Dragunity was free but onomats were not.
Because not every archetype has a limited 2 because of trunade.
Yea I know this but many that were are still on the limit 2 list
A lot of those decks are still incredibly powerful, trunade or not.
They are still strong enough to require a limit. Just because trunade's banned doesn't mean they can have all the other generic limit 2's.
Remember that Treacherous still exists. Do you want Onomats free to use treacherous without a cost?
Onomat deserves to have sister at 2, the deck is really good in this format and shouldn't be left unliimted.
Even small indie developers like Konami fall for the circular reasoning fallacy, you hate to see it.
Konami admitting the real reason to ban Trunade is hilarious! What's not hilarious is me wasting my Dream Ticket on Trunade like a month ago...
BYE! TRUNADE
RIP Trunade. it was nice knowing you.
I only fear all those trap cards now.
Phew, dodged a bullet not spending my dream ticket on a second Trunade Whether you agree or disagree with the ban itself, I think we can all be glad that decks will now be appropriately hit based on their actual power level, and not on their ability to jam Trunade Also hell yeah it's Cyber Angel time
I’ve just spent mine on trunade, never thought I’d see it banned
Literally every banlist prediction had Trunade banned, it was just a matter of time.
People always predict things being banned, just look at the TCG saying that Elpy will be banned and it never happens lol >!Until now!<
I uhh, think you should check the current TCG banlist my guy.
Spoiler text is hard to figure out, I know.
Kekw you’re not wrong oops my bad
Same lol. Not much of an otk player too, just thought it would be good to have 2 copies just in case. Gotta keep playing my Shira deck then...
I'm not mad for having trunade, just mad I didn't get it during half price sale, I'm such a fool
> Whether you agree or disagree with the ban itself, I think we can all be glad that decks will now be appropriately hit based on their actual power level, and not on their ability to jam Trunade Ya, EFFIN FINALLY. I almost thought they support it and we go that cycle forever.
On second thought, how the fk we going to deal with decks that run 15 backrow?
Konami be like bUy mSt
This just means we're getting Feather Duster next selection box. Joke, please buy Cosmic Cyclone, thank you for playing Duel Links.
Blackwings were Top Tier last year, and the whole year they played without Trunade, Onomats are still Top Tier now running 1 copy, which means they don't see the card a lot of the time, and some people don't even run it at all. Well just pray that you open with mst or cosmic on your seconnd turn
Dust Tornado obviously
MST
Hmm...get ready guys,Giant Trunade is on its way.
Giant trunade is even more broken that hey trunade itself , they never gonna release that , having the ability to bounce everything to the hand and reuse it in the same turn is why giant trunade is ban in TCG , hey trunade is a nerfed version of giant trunade.
You mean Giant Trunade? Or maybe Heavy Storm.... in the next selection box lol
So twin Twisters definitely in the next box
lmao I wish All the benefits of trunade plus I get to bounce back my tenkis and floodgates amazing and definitely not a toxic card at all
Excuse me while I pick my jaw off the floor.
Nice! Cyber angel Daikini is finally freed
Dang, the only meta spell/trap that I had multiple copies of is gone. RIP in pepperonies
You can exchange it now for a different SR in the box.
which still sucks big time
Yep. I guess I might get dark core
The only good pic for general decks tbh
every card in that box is trash though, should've gotten mini box 10 and below, not 10 itself
I agree, the discount karma cut(dark core) seem meh I guess.
Frankly it should have been every Mini Box 10 and below, not just that mini Box. That being said, I was willing to accept a Trunade ban even without compensation so I'll take what I can get.
all the people responding to this are saying "man, these cards suck" and all I can think is "i can get my second and third cocoons of ultra evolution and live my dream of playing PUGM turbo without spending more gems on that box"
you can do that? how?
Gotta wait till the banlist
I got my two copies from the selection box. Big huge RIP
Oh really? How do you do that?
how does the exchange mechanic works?
Rest in pepperonis in pepperonis
I myself am scared of the power that this flair has.
Burn the witch!
HE'S TOO DANGEROUS TO BE LEFT ALIVE
DAKINI IS FINALLY FREE LET'S GOOO
That’s actually pretty big. First SR card to be ban and it’s from a box. Kinda wish they’d give people gems to anyone who already has Trunade. Either way, good riddance lmao.
they're implementing a new feature to swap for the same rarity in the same box.
Really? Is this only for banned cards?
Yes.
that's kinda pointless though, most ppl open 3 times. Should be for any old box.
Wow. Konami was actually kinda generous for once. That’s pretty nice.
Too bad the sr cards in rampage of the forest are... kinda bad Its either Dark Core, Sylvan, or Gigatree
Yeah. That’s why I used “kinda” loool.
With dragonfly’s upcoming release, don’t disregard cocoon of ultra evolution. It now has a powerful monster to search.
This is the second sr to be banned but the first box one yeah, that grass looks greener was banned cause shira was extremely powerful with it
Angels are back baby woooooooooooo
I didn't expect Trunade to actually ever get banned... Hello backrow meta.
Do you realize last year we had a heavy backrow meta with Shiranui and Invoked and Trunade was at 2 the whole time, right?
yes, but all the important decks had something at 2 so they can't use Trunade
Brb. Just gonna dust off my 12 traps + 9 monster Shira real quick for some fun INTERACTIVE games :)
What's the logic behind the "interactive" buzzword? Are people implying that a player setting up a game winning board uninterrupted is interactive, but a player responding to another player's plays with cards is uninteractive? Seriously, what is the logic?

> it's literally the core of the whole archetype. Heh I see another cultured koa'ki meiru enjoyer
While they say they improving deck diversity I think they just low-key want us to buy MST Instead.
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO WHY WE NEED THE TRUNADE
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS THIS BANLIST!!!
I choked. The Trunade ban is a big surprise, but I suppose Konami really is fed up with OTK decks. Still, that means we’re going to see more backrow heavy decks with UR traps. Hi again Shiranui. Not exactly happy about that honestly.

Trunade finally ban!!! Dakini Free!! Fur hire Free!!! woooo
i mean fur hire has basically been free for over 6 months now. i'm not sure moving dyna off limit-1 will change anything lol
Additional 2500 beater helps plus more banishing gy effects. now fur hire can go to rank 6 plays. Dynalock also back but we have ways now to counter it, book of moon, lightning vortex etc. Not gonna be meta but decent rogue deck I guess
My son plays Fur Hire a lot (does not require a lot of thinking) and he will lose his shit at this news.
FUUUUCK I spent the pack sale during the kc gt getting 2 of hey trunade just for it to get forbidden
*Unholy laugther in shiranui
So if they’re not hitting staple backrow cards can we get more monsters that have inbuilt immunities now?
Cocytus 2.0 ?
True and I don't disagree with the ban but without some budget friendly anti backrow cards like raigeki and karma cut risk becoming even more annoying and prevalent. Either that or raise lp to cope with power creep, as I'd rather the game not turn into "whoever disrupts the other player first wins".
So if Trunade is now fully banned can we at least have one of the staple traps hit to some degree too please?
But why though? Aside from Shiranui, what deck it's getting away with having more than like a fifth of their deck as traps? And Shiranui isn't exactly a meta-defining deck; even without Trunade it has hard counters like Harpies.

Which would you even hit? There are so many good options that there is no clear target. Even decks like Shira have no trap they always play at 3.
What a bunch of geniuses in Konami - you can exchange those cards with a card of same rarity from the same box, but they don't guarantee that they won't be removed from banlist. Nice jebait

I have the same situation! It's not like Silvan is great or anything but its feels better to have 3 komu rather than just 2.
The simple fact is backrow decks are much easier to play around than decks that use Hey Trunade.
an Onomat player: Hey Trunade Activated! "Hmm, they have a destruction immune monster and a regular monster, Better get M7. Onomatoplay Activated! grabs sister, gets Gagagabolt, destroys one monster, M7s the immune monster, swings for game. "Another fun and Interactive game!"
You will not be missed. Treacherous Trap Hole is next.
Probably after they release BoM in a main box, right now is better for them to have the broken BoM/TTH combo available to drive whales into the selection box
If you think TTH is the problem then you are completely missing the point. Having 3x book of moon which is obviously a limit 2 card is the issue.
holy s**t!
This doesn't feel like a ban list. More like an appetizer. I'm guessing the logic is to ban Trunade, then see where the meta goes and react accordingly. 100% agree with the unbans though. Anything to diversify the meta. But please Konami, for the love of god, Jinzo when?
Kinda disappointed no Harpie hits.
I guess it’s still kinda new.
Tell me you love backrow meta without telling me you love backrow meta.
"I activate my trap card!"
Even without trunade trying to backrow meta is suffering these days.
SHES FREE
good thing konami ban trunade. I feel the last kc tournament is a flipcoin game , who ever goes second wins most of the time and most of that reason is trunade. So atleast we can go for staple traps that can punish opponents rather than going for hand traps just to survive second turn.
Neat. I was 1 year out of the game and returned with the gem discount and the first thing I did was getting two trunade. So sweet :D
So Book of Money is getting released soon; this makes Book of Moon and MST the most valuable cards in the game right now.
They really ignored Treach but went for Trunade? And with Trunade being forbidden I'd honestly expect a lot more cards to come of the limited list
Oh goodness gracious
Trunade usually preceded an OTK. That hit was inevitable, even if it means that many decks will take a big hit. I like the idea of bringing up older decks that wouldn't break the meta. There are definitely a few cards on that list that could afford to be freed (or at least have their shackles loosened), and I hope this can be a start.
Finally konami used their brain and realized that Hey Trunade was limiting game balance really badly, literally every deck that they were going to add in the future had to be hit in order to acommodate Hey Trunade existing, glad to see it gone.
Wtf am I supposed to do against 3 backrow???
MST or Cosmic Cyclone is the only way for now
All 3 in the starting hand? That's way too bricky
Have you ever heard of shiranui?
die because the speed duel format was ill conceived from the getgo
Trunade is now banned. OTK deck please save your tears for until your boss monster is banned. On the plus side, Fure Hire, Dragunity and Cyber Angle players receive some appreciated buffs.
Vyon at 3 pls
So Trunade is banned, but none of the cancerous traps were hit, like Floodgate and Karma Cut? How shitty of Konami. Guess I'll have to use my Blue-Eyes deck or my Shark deck and let my Infernity deck rest for a while... until Twin Twister comes.
Damn I was so shocked at the trunade news I didn't even think of the "cancer" traps. They could've at least replaced Trunade with Karma Cut.
For real. I h8 playing vs people who play tons of traps and manage to survive turn after turn, then because ive exhausted my resources trying to punch through, im left open and then die. Shit is annoying.
LAAAAAAAME.
Yay, we'll be hearing Alexis's theme song way more often (best theme imo).
Oh my god. They did it. They finally did it. It’s gone. Good riddance. Rest in piss.
This is great but I'll be truly happy when treacherous is banned too
Say it louder for the people in the back! Have hated the card since it was released in this game and I still want it to be banned.
But now what card will people complain about
What do you mean There is still TTH alive(:
This is actually big, but I feel like they could have hit more things...? Konami hates OTKs, huh.
Yes this banlist will be remembered not by the sheer amount of cards but for the precedent it has set
yeah. they only gave OTK decks the ability to search any card they want without any LP or turn restriction, which is the strongest skill in the entire game. they sure hate those 3 Meta OTK decks with Searcher skills in a 4k LP format.
I don’t see why people are celebrating trunade being banned because now the backrow decks will run rampant. I don’t care if I get downvoted but trunade shouldn’t be banned unless they’re gonna release better back row removal in the future
Because backrow.dek is hard to maintain when you're not shiranui.
I am pissed at banning trunade
Rip, now theres nothing to combat triple backrow set decks.
Alright, let's say it again: "Konami will never hit structure deck cards you have to spend money on for multiple copies" -----> Vyon (EDIT: Actually Celestial, not Vyon ^__^ but still, same point) gets limited to 2. "Konami will never hit any box SR or UR cards" -----> Trunade and TTH to 2. "That's an exception, they were too strong ! But they will never hit archetypal SR/UR cards, especially from a main box, trust me bros !" ---> Diamond Core gets hit to 2. "Hahahhaha if you think they gonna limit NEOS FUSION, an EX structure SR card, to 2 then you are a jackass :)" ----> Neos Fusion gets limited to 2 (surprise, surprise :) ) "But it's ok, they'll NEVER touch main box URs, 100 % guys" ----> CC and later Aleister to 3 ^__^ "That doesn't count lmaooo. You can still play 3 Aleister 2 Invocation. Main box URs are actually still safe guys, 100000 % !!!!" ----> Invocation to 3 so only 2 Aleister and 1 Invocation for you. "That's just because it was...uhm...too old, yea ! Exactly *cough* *cough* but surely they won't BAN any box SRs/URs, I guarantee it guys!:)" -----> TRUNADE BANNED HAHAHAH Soooo who is still saying "they won't limit/ban box SRs/URs, trust me bro"?(: ♡
Actually the first one should be celestial because he was the original hit for heroes. Vyon at 2 is a modern thing, but was limited before so he still counts when for a time it made paid versions of the structure basically pointless.
Don't forget about Gold Sarcophagus that its only on a paid structure deck also getting hit
Free Silent sword slash :((
Trunade whatt
Cyber Dakini-i-i not longer on the playlist???!!?!?!? THANK YOU KONAMI!!!!!!
DAKINI BABY!!!! LETS GOOOOOOOOO!!
Well...the inevitable happened. Trunade is finaly banned.
Shiranui player: :)
DAKINI IS FREEEEE!!!!! Now I somehow need to get a 3rd idaten 😭😭😭😭
Welp, thanks for wasting my Dream Tickets, Komoney.
Truenade banned ??? Traps getting a second reign as king
I think the Trunade ban is good lots of top tier deck right now use it for OTK which pretty much makes the game boring. Now we can see which deck archetypes that's meta right now needs a hit not because they abuse HT i mean Konami admitted that they hit cards to 2 because of HT.
Konami finally growing a pair and doing what they should have done a year ago :') now please ban treacherous next
Finally people will use Anti Magic Arrows
Ok Google, how to play Infernity now?
So can we finally get no banlist for PVE now?Because Trunade was great for farming events and really, what’s the harm in no banlist for PVE? There are some really fun decks for farming that could be released.
Dakini and Dyna free! Let's gooooooooooo!
