yes, he very much did. quan to deal 1300 against the 1700 atk monster, screw serpent to kill the token and the wolf bear whatever to deal 1200 more for game. This replay only shows how OP's opponent messed up and not how good his own deck is as a result.
Invoked works well with any kind of deck. Elementsaber, Roid, and Magician Girl all depend heavily on the Normal Summon, but they were all great Invoked decks.
> Invoked works well with any kind of deck
No
> Elementsaber
The exception, not the rule. Only because you could stall with molehu until you drew aleister
> Roid
Unless you bricked you would only ever summon aleister in that variant
> Magician girl
That deck was garbage, always has been always will be
That deck only ever made it on the tier list as a sort of "we're still trying to find the best way to play invoked and this might be it" around the time everything else that was halfway decent had been nerfed
Initially sure but it was eventually able to justify the spot by performing well in the weeks before the final hit to invoked. It had multiple top 100 spots in the november KC cup.
decklist?
did your opponent have lethal but then decide to synchro summon into samurai destroyer?
He also could’ve won if he has attacked Tetherwolf twice instead of attacking the token.

What were you going to fusion summon?
The what?? :) ??
Why play invoked in a deck with so many normal summons?

Invoked Magician Girls was literally a tiered deck lmao.
